We recently had our wedding and I wanted to add a special European touch, so we hired Michael to play accordion during cocktail hour. I procrastinated as usual, but found Mike at the last moment. I was hoping he could play some of the well known European classics, but he also stepped up to the plate and learned some Baltic (Estonian, Latvian) tunes at a moments notice and played them with ease.
It was great because we were able sing along to some of the tunes he played for us and it was a lot of fun.

Mike and Joe performed as a duo of accordion and mandolin for our Italian themed garden dinner on Saturday. They were prompt, professional and delightful to work with. During their performance they offered to take requests and played a wide variety of Italian classics, among other crowd favorites. They even strolled among the garden and sang at various tables for guests during their last set. Their performance was exactly what we were looking for - we would highly recommend!

Michael is very professional and entertaining. He arrived early playing a great variety of Accordian music and dressed in Lederhosen and Hat ! I had many people walk up to me about how much they liked him. He communicates easily too. Hire him!

Michael was a great entertainer who kept the atmosphere upbeat with lots of kids in the audience. He plays beautifully and with versatility We booked him for an hour but he arrived 15 minutes early to set up and played extra few songs past the hour. He also took time to chat. We received many positive comments from our guests and my Mom was very happy with Mike's array of songs he played. Due to unplanned car troubles Mike experienced, he was one hour late to our event, but the majority felt that his music was actually better timed for the seated meal, rather than during the first hour of our guests mingling and wanting to talk with each other. The other bonus was that he was still there to play and sing "Happy Birthday" when the cake was presented to my Mother. We requested minimal singing, which he honored, but the few songs he did sing were very well sung. We definitely would consider hiring Mike again in the future, if we wanted an accordion player for an event we were planning.

Michael was on time, communicative, knows how to read the room (what to play and when), an excellent singer/musician & made our evening the very best! My wife will always remember her 40th birthday because of the atmosphere created by Michael's wonderful performance. If you're not hiring Michael, you're not going to have a memorable event. Last Saturday Mike performed at our 40th anniversary celebration at the Prie Winery in Lodi. We had just over 100 in attendance. Mike was outstanding! He strolled through the crowd playing a number of Italian tunes, accompanying a few with his superb voice. During our lunch he provided background music at just the proper volume. Our members were delighted. We look forward to having Mike play at future events.

Michael was everything we hoped for and better. He played for my father’s 80th birthday with a group of about 12 people. His communication was great his engagement with the crowd was wonderful. My father was so surprised and very pleased and commented how it was so fantastic how many German songs he played. Highly recommended!

Michael played at my mothers 80th birthday luncheon celebration in Healdsburg on December 16th. He was able to add a few Russian songs to his play list per her request, which she loved and even got up to dance to. He also did a nice job of accommodating some speeches. His song choices during the meal were a nice mix so that guests could also have conversations while eating.
It would be nice to hear him play at an event once all of the Covid protocals are lifted.

First, the business:

Mike was extremely professional. All of the event planning and communication was convenient and fast. Mike has done many events of different varieties, and he is extremely familiar with the area, and this made my job as the event planner very straightforward.

Also, Mike was able to accommodate all of our special circumstances without any problems. It was really clear to us that he could have handled anything we threw at him. He was perfectly on time, extremely professional, and was able to easily control the space and the crowd as the night progressed from early to late evening.

Second, the music:

Mike's repertoire was very impressive - not only that, but he was able to play many pieces perfectly by sight, which was a huge help for us as we wanted to hear quite a few pieces which are seldom played in this area.

It was also no problem for him to spin off an impromptu duet with the vocalist in our group, and together they created a memorable and beautiful moment which I am certain will remain close to our hearts late into our lives.

So in short, Mike was able to play technically challenging music directly from the page as you would expect from a talented concert musician, but also was creative and improvisational in how he worked together with our soloist to help us create lasting memories of our happiness together.

We were all deeply impressed by Mike's virtuoso performance - not only was he talented and masterful on the accordion, but he is also a pitch perfect vocalist as well. It's extremely difficult to find someone of his talent, passion, and skill, and we are both grateful and surprised to have been so lucky.

Bluntly, Mike is a musician through and through - you will not find one of better calibre for your event - there is no exception to this, and I challenge you to find someone who has developed a more refined musical craft than Mike has.

Thank you Mike, you really gave us a night we will never forget.

Mr zampiceni was simply wonderful. He is a good communicator, arrived early and performed beautifully. Guests at my party ranged from 4 to 84. Mr. Zampiceni played and sang songs everyone knew and enjoyed. He has a wonderful voice and a charming personality. I feel fortunate to have selected him from this website. Since we could not celebrate my birthday in Paris, as planned, we did the next best thing. We hired Michael to stand outside, in our driveway, and play all my favorite French accordion songs, including La Vie En Rose, C'est Si Bon, Pigalle, etc. (He was thoughtful enough to provide a list of all the French songs he had in his repertoire and I could pick which ones I wanted). My husband and I and a couple of friends and neighbors came by were able to keep social distance and enjoy a very special concert. Michael was very good about contacting us and arriving early. The whole experience could not have been better.

Mike was very flexible and adapted to a difficult situation when a freak weather cell drove our outdoor Oktoberfest party of 95, into our residence. Instead of people seated at round tables, they were seated on chairs in various rooms. Mike played music and moved thru the rooms, taking requests and singing. Our attendees were very complimentary of his music selection and his receptability to our situation.

Michael played Italian music beautifully on his accordion and he can sing as well. He can also play a variety of all types of music. My husband and I along with all our guests just loved Michael and his wonderful music. It made our party so festive! I would love to have Michael back for more. So talented!!

Mike was fantastic! We hired him for a surprise pizza party that we filmed and even asked him to learn a custom song on his accordion. Mike was super flexible and rolled with all the changes of the day. Our event definitely was unique and had many challenges but Mike easily adapted and was the highlight for everyone there. I could not be happier with the job the Michael Z. performed. Michael exceeded my expectations in many ways:
- he tailored his song list to emphasize the songs of my fathers generation (1900's - 1960's) including playing
many requests that I knew my father liked
- he played while my nephew sang "Hymne L' Amour" having been presented the sheet music a couple of
hours before the event
- he entertained the party guests between dinner and dessert while the 'family' went to take group pictures
he walked between the tables playing and singing engaging all 60 guests- unprompted
- he was flexible with regards to changes to the schedule of the party (going overlong) and, indeed, during
the whole event from planning to execution.

Michael's is so kind, so in tuned to all those in attendance at the funeral reception. He was very cautious to keep the music appropriate, quiet and calm, for the event. YET, he received requests for polkas, singing and increase of volume after the event was on its way. He met those requests. He has incredible skills as a player and singer. Michael , Was wonderful. It was a surprise for my wife and guests to have an accordion player at my wedding reception. When the guests started coming in from the ceremony Michael was playing what I had requested which was French accordion music. Everyone was surprised and delighted to hear him play.
