Musical Memories

Dave was professional, ahead of time and sensitive to the needs of the audience. I recommend his contribution to our party.

The residents of Rosewood Cottage enjoyed the music of 'Musical Memories' very much. It is sometimes hard to get many of them to come out to take part, but Dave's music drew them and many that normally don't interact came in to listen and enjoy his music. We look forward to booking 'Musical Memories' again.

Just want to say a huge thank you to Dave Hornung and his Musical Memories! We hired Dave to provide the entertainment for our Client Appreciation Party at the Chilliwack Corn Maze. This was an outdoor, casual family event that involved all ages, from young children to seniors, and we needed someone to provide background entertainment that would appeal to everyone. We couldn't have found a more perfect choice! Dave took the time to learn about our event beforehand and even took the time to drive out to the venue the week before so he would have a good feel for the setting. He was totally independent, provided his own sound system and needed only for us to point to where we wanted him to set up. Dave played a wide variety of music well suited to the occasion and was careful to ensure that the volume was enough for him to be heard but never too loud, allowing our guests to visit and chat without distraction. We had many comments from our clients throughout the day saying how much they had enjoyed listening to him and how much it added to the atmosphere of the event. We had booked Dave for a four hour time period and he played almost continuously, taking only short breaks and providing recorded music for when he wasn't playing. He even brought along a mic with his sound system so that we could use it to make announcements when needed. Very appreciated! Booking Dave Hornung Musical Memories through the GigSalad site was super easy and we are so glad we found him! We will definitely be booking Dave again for our event next year and would highly recommend him for yours!

Dave showed up to our event early and was set up and ready to go! He is warm, friendly and so easy to talk to. We had spoken previously on our music selections and he came prepared and played all of the favourites that he said he would. I commend him to the highest degree for his beautiful musical arrangements. We heard compliments galore over his playing. Above and beyond is what comes to mind in describing Dave and what he has done to prepare our music selections for my Dad's 80th Birthday party. Dave was so flexible and patient while we were trying to 'cement' our plans. We are presently 2 weeks out from the event and I couldn't be happier with how easy this whole process has been. Dave has kept in contact with me the whole time and he is an absolute delight on the phone!
