Nalani

Nalani is a phenomenal person & performer. She was professional, communicative, and engaging to even the most hesitant guests. This was a great addition to our event. We will definitely work with her again.

Nalani was excellent! She was prompt in answering my questions and explained all the dancing to be performed so clearly. She was so pleasant and got all of the family involved in the dancing. She is beautiful and very talented with colorful costumes. She brought her own music and equipment so I did not have to worry about providing anything for the performance. Nalani was unable to come, however, her partner, Christina took her place. Christina was prompt and even came a little early to set up. I found her to be warm and personable. She greeted my guests with a smile as she handed out the leis. Christina entertained everyone with two different dance styles, Polynesian and Traditional Hula. She was a pleasure to watch and all my guests had a great time. For a unique, fun experience, I would highly recommend!

Nalani was excellent! She came to our home for my daughters 7th birthday luau. Not only did she perform her hula and Tahitian dances with a costume change in between but she also played multiple games with the kids and took pictures with them after. She kept everyone at the party entertained the entire time! Would highly recommend her if you are having a Hawaiian themed party!!!

I made an excellent decision when hiring Nalani to perform at my daughter's luau themed graduation party. Prior to booking Nalani she provided me with various options for her performance and was very responsive to requests for additional information. She is flexible and has the ability to tailor her performance to your specific needs which is great! She was very accommodating. Nalani communicated with me immediately after I booked her and she followed up with me the day before the event. All logistics were covered. Nalani was accompanied by her husband (who is very pleasant and provides assistance with her musical set -speakers). She was already changed into her first costume and ready to entertain our guests. She performed two great performances - a traditional one and also a fire show which had everyone in awe. She also included a limbo contest which added a nice touch. I was very pleased with the service she provided, our guests are still raving about her :-)

I can't say enough great things about working with Nalani! Not only is she beautiful, lovely and talented, she is also highly professional. Her costumes are all made in Hawaii and and are beautiful alone, but once she starts dancing and engaging the crowd that is when the fun begins! We hired her for a luau fundraiser and she was fantastic. We had a fabulous ukulele player there who played the songs we all know and love, however she brought her own music because hula tells a story to the music and it was great! We even had ladies come up who wanted to learn some hula steps and even got some of the guys up and dancing and everyone was so into it! It really helped create a fun energy and ambiance, and she was able to adapt to our schedule as our speakers ran a little bit over time. She even stayed at the end to take a few pictures with our guests. I will absolutely hire her again in the future and I would encourage you to do the same - booking Nalani is a great value add to any party and you won't be disappointed!

Nalani is very sweet but very talented, we were all thrilled with her hula dances and music and the interaction she did with guest. I would have her anytime again! I would like to send her photos...how can I do that??

Nalani and I discussed the event the week prior to our party. Specifically, how to structure entertainment for maximum spectator enjoyment and audience participation. She and her husband arrived on time, set up quickly and brought her own sound system.

She was FANTASTIC! We had 60 guests of all ages and they were all enthralled. Throughout Nalani's performance she managed to get just about every guest up and dancing. It was wonderful - I would recommend hiring Nalani for your next event - you will not be disappointed! She performed a traditional hula dance, followed by fire dancing and ended with a limbo contest.

I can't say enough good things about Nalani's performance at the Luau . She made everyone feel welcome and her expertise was demonstrated through each of her three shows . The fire dance definitely will captivate any crowd and her gentle and authentic smile put everyone at ease. She incorporated the right blend of artistic performance and audience participation. Nalani made my party. The weather was bad; the caterer had a mix up and still my guests and I had a great time.

Nalani was a wonderful dancer but a better performer. She got my guests up and dancing and engaged. They did the Hula and other dances and the Limbo. She stayed for photos and made everybody feel great.

Having Nalani entertain at our backyard pig roast not only provided an enjoyable cultural experience but also got people who didn't know each other to interact in such a fun way. Both chidren and adults participated and she was great at coaxing some reluctant partygoers to get up and be part of the fun. She made herself available for photos after her act, and the liveliest part of the party was doing the limbo. I am so happy we had her come!

Nalani and her dancing partner Leilani performed at our daughter's 7th birthday party. Both ladies were very professional and worked really well with the kids. All of the kids, and many of the adults, enjoyed the limbo contest after the performances. Overall, we were really pleased with the event and working with Nalani and Leilani. It was great to speak in detail about the logistics of the day with Nalani in advance of the party and I think that really helped to make everything work out well. Should the occasion arise again in the future, we would not hesitate to hire Nalani and Leilani again.

Very entertaining

We hired Nalani for my mother-in-law's Hawaiian Luau 70th Birthday Party! She was perfect and got the party off to the right start! She arrived promptly and was very authentic looking. We enjoyed dancing the hula with her and she got everyone up to join in the fun! I would definitely recommend Nalani and would hire her again if the need arrises!

I hired Nalani for my daughter's birthday party, and we really enjoyed the performance! When booking Nalani, she was very accommodating with dates & times & also agreed to a rain date, which was great. She followed up very quickly with a contract via e-mail & answered my questions quickly via e-mail too. She showed up early for the performance. She didn't even need to plug in her speaker, and all we had to do was enjoy the show. I particularly liked the Polynesian dancing. The performance appealed to all ages at our party, and we all loved the adult male audience participation! Nalani & her partner ran a limbo contest after her performance, and that went well. I was surprised to see the adults actually participated in the contest. I would definitely recommend her. Thanks Nalani!

My mom celebrated her 88 th birthday and I wanted this event a special one. My mom's desire was to vacation in Hawaii, but never happened. I thought that bringing a little bit of the Hawaiian entertainment into my mother's home would please her. The home was transformed with luau decoration and was quite beautiful. We had a total of 25 close friends and family attend this special moment.
When I spoke to Nalani for arrangements,I knew she was special. When the party started, she looked beautiful, was all smiles, engaged the audiance, made us laugh,we took plenty of photos and she brought a glow to my mom's face. Wow what a night. Hire Nalani, you won't regret it!
