Nancy has styled my hair and done my makeup for both personal events and photography sessions; I have loved it every time! Her fun personality makes the experience enjoyable and her gorgeous salon is warm and welcoming. She listened to what I was looking for and offered additional suggestions to help make my final look perfect! It was great working with someone who both listens to and incorporates what you want but also provides expert insight into looks you may not have considered, but that end up looking fabulous. Nancy is a true artist in her field!
I went to Nancy to get my makeup and hair done for a photo shoot that I had. She made the experience really nice by taking the time to listen to my wants/needs for the shoot. She supplemented my requests with creative and fun ideas of her own. I'm thankful for that since I sometimes struggle to know exactly what I want. So when I wasn't sure about something, she made some suggestions and I couldn't be happier with the look I got. The pictures turned out great and I can't wait to go back for my next Bittner experience!
As a side note, Nancy's facilities are warm and inviting. Her hair/makeup studio is very clean, modern, and private. Her prices are very fair and all of our transactions have been expertly professional and easy.

I have been inspired by hair and beauty for most of my life. This lead me to the Douglas J Aveda Institute in Chicago, IL. I had the pleasure of practicing with all types of clientele and was able to master a wide range of techniques, including up-dos, hair color, and special occasion makeup. Throughout this training, I became more and more interested in helping brides out on their special days. I want to give each bride an experience and look that is as unique as she is.
In order to provide my clients with the best services, I firmly believe in continuing my education. I am constantly researching new products and styling tips through interactive online resources and consistent practice with volunteers. I feel confident I can deliver the latest style or newest trend for those looking for it.
If you're not interested in fads or changing anything, that's great! I am more than happy to enhance your current look while staying within your comfort zone. I personally have modeled hair and makeup in the past and recognize how important it is to have my vision considered in the process. I will always respect your wishes above all else!
In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my husband and children and exploring Winston-Salem. We're so happy to of found this town to raise our family!
