Nathalia

Option A (ages 1-5)

Nathalia will come to your party location and provide a 45-minute interactive musical experience for you and your guests. She sings and plays guitar while an assistant models songs and activities for the children. The program includes instrument playing, bubbles, musical story time, puppets, parachute, drumming, dancing and movement, pom poms and more! The program is 45min and designed for children ages 1 to 5 and their parents too!

Option B (ages 4-7)

Nathalia and her bandmate(s) use a creative bilingual approach to engage families in an interactive musical concert. From themes like space exploration to cruising down the Amazon River, her infectious songs will have families singing, dancing, even learning a little Spanish, in this fun multicultural experience! This program is 45-60min and designed ages 4-7.

Nathalia was born and raised in Barranquilla, Colombia. She holds a bachelor's degree in Music Therapy from the Berklee College of Music and a master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University.

Nathalia's experience as a music therapist inspired her to use music as a tool for teaching her children Spanish and about their Colombian heritage. She did so by composing a series of short songs, which made learning words and phrases both fun and memorable, and would later incorporate these songs as part of the curriculum in her music classes. Soon after, Nathalia recorded and released her debut album, From Here To There. The album consisted of original bilingual songs arranged and performed in a wide variety of musical styles. Since then, Nathalia has released two additional bilingual albums, Dream a Little and Cuando era pequeña, both of which have recieved stellar reviews. In addition to entertaining for children's events Nathalia also runs an early childhood music education program serving preschools and day cares across LA county.

Unless otherwise agreed upon, Nathalia brings all equipment, which includes amplification, instruments, props, etc. The only requirement is to have an easily accessible power outlet.
