Hi, I’m Nathan Wray!
I empower students to build connections, embrace diversity, and develop positive mindsets to reduce school violence, substance use, and harmful behaviors. My presentations for elementary, middle, and high school students can be paired with evidence-based curriculum.
As a trauma-informed speaker, I’m certified as a Teen Mental Health First Aid Coordinator, Teen Vaping Cessation Specialist, Thrive Teen Resilience Instructor, and LEAD instructor. I’ve also served as a Drug Endangered Children Coordinator, combining prevention expertise with leadership.

Nathan did a great job speaking at White County High School and White County Middle School. He was engaging and relatable. The kids loved him. I know he made a big difference for many of our students who spoke with him after the presentation. His message is one that will benefit all students!

Nathan Wray knocks it out of the park when it comes to educating students on the dangers of vaping/tobacco, alcohol, and drug abuse using his own experiences. He has a great balance of lighthearted fun and serious conversations centered around drug abuse and mental health. He is active and engaging with all students. He is an advocate for seeking mental health help and educating todays youth. I highly recommend Nathan to educate your students!

Nathan Wray does an outstanding job when telling his experience of struggles he has had in his life and how even when you are down, you can see how things can change in an instant for the better or the worse and how you can choose which path to take to change your life. He reaches so many with his general comfort with speaking and also speaking to others on their comfort level. I was so moved listening to his story and feel so many others could be reached also to see the consequences of their decisions in life.

I want to take a moment to celebrate Nathan Wray and the fantastic session, "Reducing Teen Vaping on Middle School Campuses: A Diversion-Based Approach," presented at our annual prevention conference to over 250 adult prevention professionals. Nathan spoke to our students last week and done a great job. Keeping high school students engaged is not always the easiest task to accomplish. Nathan had a gym full of students attentive and learning for an hour and even had multiple students stop to talk to him after the presentation was over. His story is motivational and inspiring for students who have struggled in similar ways or may be leaning towards a path that could be detrimental.
