He was amazing. The way he involved the students and taught them about the Native Hoop Dance & its History. Also tellingvthe kids how he was taught the Native American Hoop Dance by his uncle. The students were all captivated and truly enjoyed his visit. All you heard during the Hoop Dance were the kids excitement. This was by far the best Performer/ Guest Speaker my Summer Camp has had.

Eric definitely brought an amazing experience to our film festival. His ability to connect with people, to tell stories and then topped off with his incredible talent elevated our event. The entire community and all of the filmmakers are still talking about him and his performance.
Response from World Renowned Native American Hoop Dancer:
Hi James,
I’m truly touched by your kind words! Knowing that the community and filmmakers are still talking about the event is incredibly rewarding. Thank you for your amazing opportunity!
Warmest regards,
Eric
A great performance that was very interactive and amazing! Thank you for your services!
I would recommend them to everyone and anyone. Our family was very happy with both Native American dancer, and singer. Our mother would’ve been very proud. She was very proud of her heritage, so yes, we were very happy and we would recommend them to anyone not a five star there a 10 star thank you, Belinda Amaro.
Response from World Renowned Native American Hoop Dancer:
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a kind and thoughtful review. We are honored to have been a part of your memorial service and to have helped celebrate your mother's heritage.
It warms our hearts to hear that you and your family were happy with both the Native American dancer and singer, and that your mother would have been proud.
Once again, thank you for choosing us to be a part of such a special occasion. We appreciate your support and hope to work with you and your family again in the future.
I hired Eric for a Baby Shower for my unborn grandson Logan. He showed up in the pouring rain and never made a single excuse about performing. (We had huge tents). We were double blessed because he brought along another performer, native from Canada, (so sorry I cannot remember her name). She sang a beautiful song that really set the tone for an amazing performance. Family members sent me messages about how their kids went on & on about the experience they were a part of. He ended the show by doing a smudging to the family that is expecting!
Hire Eric, you won't regret it!
He was great. He adapted between both assemblies. One for the younger kids and one for the older kids. He had student and teacher participation. He held their attention the entire time, they didnt even know they were learning! The kids Oooo-ed and aaahhh-ed throughout. And lastly he spoke on the contemporary native Americans and how it isn't what we see in books but they are still here and encouraged the students to go and find about their own culture. Loved it! Got goosebumps.
Eric came to a local park to present to our Kindergarten and 2nd Grade students and let me tell you, he was absolutely AMAZING! He captured the attention of every student effortlessly with his storytelling and inclusive approach. The audience participation was exhilarating for the students and teachers alike. And this is all BEFORE he even danced! His mastery of his craft is awe inspiring and we feel lucky to have been able to witness it! Will definitely reach back out to Eric next year!
Eric was wonderful, his dance, his story telling, overall he was excellent with our event. Five stars overall!
I hired Eric to perform his Hoop Dance for my annual Harvest Dinner. He was awesome! My guests and I are still talking about the cultural experience he gave us. His performance was a history lesson, storytelling, and dance all wrapped into one show. Such a great job. He is very skilled at Hoop Dancing. There was also an audience participation portion as well. That was very cool!
But yeah, just a great job! Eric left us with knowledge of his tribe and a further appreciation for Native American history and culture.
Eric was an absolute pleasure to have perform as one of our Native American Heritage Month guest speakers. He offered a lot of insight and history into the significance of hoop dancing and was open and authentic in sharing his own story in taking up this beautiful artform and how it has played a role in his life.
The performance was simply beautiful and more than a few people have shared that they were completely lost in the moment as they watched Eric perform.
Eric also was kind, thoughtful, and reflective as we asked questions about hoop dancing, the Native community, and about him. He invited everyone to learn and appreciate Native culture in a very welcoming way while also showing a willingness to discuss serious topics and issues relevant to the Native community.
Having Eric as a hoop dancer and an educational speaker was truly a pleasure and I highly recommend his services to others.
Eric was absolutely amazing!! We booked him for Native American Heritage Month for our preschool and our children were so engaged! He was very patient when it came to the children and was able to keep 2-4 year old's interest and in awe! He is a great storyteller and was able to explain Native American culture and meaning of the hoop dance beautifully. We will definitely book Eric again. Thank you so much!!
Eric and his Uncle did a fantastic job. They not only kept a group of high school and middle schoolers engaged by the wondering stories of the Native American people but their own stories. They had the students involved in trying to learn to hoop dance and of course the incredible grand finale of Eric’s hoop dance which is just so beautiful to watch. I’d recommend them for any event. It was a real honor for us to have been blessed to meet them.
What an amazing event we had! Our students, staff, and families loved it! He is an excellent performer, intelligent, and articulate. He wowed the audience using hoops to form different shapes, to represent the world/nature, and to create beautiful imagery of different animals. Our students were enthralled and learned more about Native American Heritage through this experience! Thank you for the amazing experience! We will definitely book him again next year!
We hired Eric for our Native American Heritage month celebration. Eric and his uncle, Terry, were great storytellers and were able to explain their culture and meaning of the dance beautifully. They interacted wonderfully with the crowd. Eric is a very skilled hoop dancer and the best in the country no doubt. All of our residents are still talking about them. We would definitely recommend him and would love to hire Eric in the future.
We hired Eric to perform at our Autumn cultural festival at the children's museum, and were very impressed! Eric was very knowledgeable about the roots of the hoop dance and great at storytelling. He was also great with young children and very adaptable throughout his entire show. We had some technical issues, but he worked around it and still gave an amazing performance. Overall very easy to work with, and would highly recommend!
The main thing my late husband requested at his “Celebration of Life” was to invite an American Indian Hoop Dancer. OMG! Eric was amazing. Eric’s dance was beautiful, spiritual, emotional, professional, it was fabulous.❤️🙏❤️Thank you
Eric Hernandez exceeded my expectations! Not only was his email communications prompt leading up to our event, his performance on the day, which included some teaching, audience participation and a climactic hoop dance routine was a great success! I highly recommend Eric Hernandez!
We hired Eric for our school’s annual diversity celebration, attended by hundreds of our students and families. We were excited to have a Native American cultural performance included among other international performers, and Eric did not disappoint! He was punctual, professional, and got along so well with the kids, parents, and school staff. The performance itself was remarkable in every way. Kids and parents alike were impressed with his hoop dancing skills, beautiful outfit, and his inspiring personal connections to the dance and culture. I highly recommend Eric and we will certainly be inviting him back for our next cultural event.
Eric and his Uncle performed for our county's elementary schools. Here's what the kids had to say..
"Hoop Dancing is the best kind of dancing I have ever seen!"-4th grader. "They are so cool. I really want to learn to hoop dance." " I find it really cool, their story and their dancing."
Book these professionals. You will get so much more than you expected. Their giving spirit was heartwarming, their message was motivating, and their professionalism is appreciated.
Eric is professional - timely & prepared, even for our unpredictable sound system setup. Great interaction with crowd and (older) kids 11+. Got kids involved, hands-on participation. Amazing skill performance. Great personal story - moving and motivational. Highly recommend!
Eric is more amazing in person than on screen. It was an honor to have him perform at my party. The message behind his craft and his performance alone was definitely breathtaking. My guest loved him.
Thank you so much for making my party extra special
Hired Eric for a corporate event at Amazon and he was amazing. Showed up on time, gave a great performance, and was very engaging with our associates. We would defiantly be working with him in the future.
Response from World Renowned Native American Hoop Dancer:
Thank you! I look forward to working together in the future.
He was a pleasure to work with. In addition to being a very skilled hoop dancer, he was able to articulate the meaning of the dance beautifully. I think I speak for everyone at Cal State Fullerton's Inter-Tribal Student Council when I say that we would love to have him back in the future.
He was on time, a great performer, and very nice. It was a pleasure to watch him perform and we look forward to hiring him again. Outstanding young man!
