An audience member will feel various emotions, depending on the talent I am projecting. Elation and being captured during a hula, maybe sadness or pure joy, deja vu, or nostalgia from belting out a certain song. They will definetly feel my emotions, and my heart and soul, it is what I give, no less. I want to immerse them and take them away on a journey, transcend them to a place of sheer euphoria.

High energy vocalist with a versatile performance style. Artistic and spontaineous, I can take you on musical journeys blending cool jazz, (classic standards) explosive balladry to the likes of Whitney Houston, Celine Dion and Mariah Carey, and also carry you to electrifying heights of high energy performing dancing and singing from old school (disco, Janet Jackson and Beyonce) to flavorful pop latin (Gloria Estefan/Selena). 20 years of performing in Hawaii, Las Vegas, New York, Philidelphia, Georgia, California, Asia, Europe. Solo recording artist in Hawaii in Hawaiian, pop/jazz/r & b genres. Also up to date with the latest music pop styles of artists such as Kate Perry, Lady Gaga and Adele.

I am also a seasoned dancer. I combine my shows with a blend of ancient hula called "kahiko"(Very ceremonial and spiritual, rhythmic percussions and drums resonate this ancient tribal dance respected by the ancient ancestors of Hawaii) . The other style is "auwana" or modern hula (Very famous and what is known all over the world in the presentation of swaying hips, melodic vocals and mesmerizing fluidity of this well known art form). This island blend of dancing can also be complimented with the rapid swaying hip movements from Tahiti or the harmonious smooth styings of New Zealand.

I also perform fire dancing routines to high energy/new age/and Hawaiian themed songs with fire pois (fire balls suspended from steel chains). Since the fire does burn out, these performances are short, but create impact with a chameleon of costumes and visual presentation.

I have entertained on various levels including private parties (weddings, graduations, bachelor party roasts, birthdays, retirement, seasonal, model fashion shows, themed events), corporate functions, hotel establishments, clubs, outdoor/stadium events/charity concerts ( PRO BOWL, NFL, college basketball, football doing the National Anthem, jazz concerts). From one to over 100,000 people, I have been blessed to share my talents with audiences worldwide.

I am an experienced face painter/henna tatoo artist for children's parties,corporate events, bridal/bachelorette parties for 10 years.

I am a SAG member and I have also done stunt work. PA assistant, casting assistant and Extra work for various movies and televison series that were filmed in Hawaii: (The Big Bounce with Morgan Freeman, 50 First Dates with Adam Sandler, LOST, Jurrassic Park, Mighty Joe Young, and George of the Jungle just to name a few.

I also have experience in the modeling industry in fitness and printwork. I have done MC/comedy/entertainer combination packages for private functions and I have combined my talents (singing, dancing, fire, comedy, MC and modeling talents ) to create unique and novelty themed events for flavorful,exciting and eclectic performances.

What you can expect from me is the highest of standards. Consistent communication between client and talent is a must. Preparations and Confirmations of events and gigs(agreements with client and talent through verbal and written consent via telephone and email) are mandatory prior to event. Detail oriented and punctual, I am attentive to timing, details, theme of your event and the overall impact you would like to create . From Genesis to Exodus, every event or gig is unique and all its own and will be regarded with respect, creativity and individuality. I am laid back and very easy to work with, a team player if it demands collaboration with other creative forces, I am willing to be open and cooperative to create the excitement and energy each gig demands.

Depending on the talent I am doing, the criterior for the lighting and performance creates many variables.

For vocal performance: I need a wireless hand held.A regular corded mike JUST IN CASE as a backup is a must. (Preferably a SHURE BETA 58 or EV mic suits my voice best. I normally bring my own EV corded mike with me as a backup if the handheld poses problems. My range is high and powerful, a quality sound system is a must. You can have the greatest singer but if the sound quality is poor, it will not highlight the vocalists' talent. I need a monitor on stage for myself. A reputable sound person who can articulate reverb, compression, bass, lows, mids and highs for larger gigs. If I am solo, I come earlier to arrange levels myself, and give instructions to the tech person who will oversee the gig. A sound system with an IPOD doc or CD player for my back up music is mandatory for solo gigs. If possible if this is a gig with dance music and I am moving around, a headset wireless mic would be great, if not a hand held wireless mic is sufficient. ALWAYS have a regular corded mike connected (just in case the battery runs out, interference, delay or sound problems become an issue with the frequency or antenna, it happens!!!)

For hula gigs, I need a stage area (even if its a flat area and not a stage) of a decent size to move around, minimum cubic footage 6ft by 6ft. since choreography is challenged if the area is too small. preferably hard ground, but I can make do with carpeted areas if need be if its indoors(like a conference room in a hotel If its outdoors, depending on weather conditions, if the weather poses for a possibility or rain, the area should be covered.

Lighting for specialty performances can be discussed in details at the time of the gig, if special lighting is necessary. For more elaborate gigs, and a lighting person is inclusive in the budget, then mood and timing of lighting can be discussed for the overall conception of the show for certain songs, choreography, costuming... mood enhancement for a song etc....
