Mermaid Lanai did a mermazing job at my daughter’s pool party. She gave my daughter a lot of attention despite there being 34 children in the pool. It also warmed my heart to see that she recognized that another little girl was shy and she gave her extra attention. Communication was wonderful and she arrived early. Her husband is the added bonus as he provides pictures. She gave my daughter a special gift, which has not come off. She also brought a treasure box for surprises for all of the children. She was definitely worth the money we spent and then some.

Hired Mermaid Lanai last minute for a party and she was able to squeeze me in. The kids loved her, she handed out wishing stones and told them stories, answering All of their questions too. Thanks again, Lanai & Team!!!!!

Lanai appeared at our super special event being held in a hotel in Times Square. From the moment we spoke, she was kind-hearted and sweet. When she came, she briefed us on what she planned to do and even asked for suggestions that she can incorporate to her meet and greet to make it more fun for the kids. We had other entertainers there which she interacted with as well, playfully chatting with them and encouraging the kids to play with them as well. Lanai made sure she talked with each child and their parents too, she took photos with them, and didn't mind staying just a little later than expected. She handled a few of our "special" kids with smiles and gentle words, and hugs if they asked her for one. She even stood in character until the last kid left the event. Truly handled everything professionally and even thanked us for having her there. We look forward to our future events, we will definitely hire her again soon!!

When the "Ariel" we hired didn't show up, my husband called Lana'i hoping she'd have the opening and luckily she did..
We delayed the party an hour for mermaid to show up and she came quickly, swam with and entertained the kids. Even shared a story from a book she had and took lots of photos with the kids too.
She is truly one of the nicest person (merperson?)we have met. I plan to hire her again with more notice of course :) .

I can't even begin to explain how amazing Lanai is, she was amazing and quick to answer the kid's questions, She has the look of a true mermaid and sweet as candy, even when the boys were a bit rowdy (which again I apologize for) She took it in stride and even encouraged them to make up a game which everyone could play together. Watching her swim with the kids was so nice to see. She even booked with us 2 days before the party. (which is amazing!!!) She's truly worth hiring. We will be booking again soon. Lanai and her Mertender are a great team, They helped us alot when it came to trying to figure out set up at our daughter's small party. Lanai was quite enchanting when it came to appearing and interacting. Her tail is pretty real. Ashlee just loved playing swimming and interacting with her "Mermaid friend" and she cherishes the gift "the mermaid gave her." She also loves the book too, she reads it to her friends now.

Her Mertender/husband is very helpful, and kept us informed, and went above and beyond to make sure we all had a great day, even stood a little later then expected to make sure we got family photos together with Ashlee.

What can I say about this mermaid. She is so sweet and friendly and very adaptable as well because we had to change our dates last minute due to my daughter getting sick. From the moment she got into the water and the kids saw her, it was just nothing but an exciting time. My daughter Angelina loved Lanai so much that she stuck on to her new mermaid friend like an octopus and Lanai didint seem to mind at all. She made time to talk to and swim with each of the kids (15 girls) and gave wishing stones (which lanai taught them how to put their 'wishes' into) Seashells and special sea glass . Mermaid Lanai did a story-time too "The Brave Mermaid" which was also a gift to my daughter, who has me read it to her every night!! Her NEW TAIL is so beautiful and amazing it feels so real! Lanai passes for a real life mermaid. She could really be Ariel's cousin. Overall The kids (and parents) loved Lanai! she is truly a mermaid worth hiring. I will be rehiring her again soon for our end of summer luau.

We hired a mermaid for our daughter's undersea themed party. Right from the start communication was clear with the performer, she arrived early and was quickly in costume. Her tail and overall costume is quite lovely. Her personality is sweet and interactive. The moment she entered the water it was fun from start to finish. Lanai engaged our guests, played, talked and interacted with them. She would take photos with them, and of course even though we got her in the pool late (miscommunication on our part), she still was very understanding about it. The kids and adults loved her playful antics and she made the night so much more special. She even engaged my mother in law who is not normally as talkative with people.Thank you Lanai for a wonderful evening. We will be booking you again soon!

I was reluctant in hiring a mermaid for a Non Pool Party, but Lanai reassured me that she could still make the day magical. And she was right!Mermaid Lanai came to our 6-year old's mermaid birthday party. The girls were so surprised to see her in our backyard on a special mermaid clam chair we had for her! She did a great job including all the little girls in the fun. She was funny, sweet, and very professional. Lanai was also very patient with answering LOTS of questions from 14 4-6-year old girls. Thank you, Lanai, for making it a party our daughter will definitely remember!!

Was thrilled with the services. Professional, friendly, courteous, on time. Lanai looked like she swam out of the ocean. Amazing quality to her purple tail, it feels "real". She definitely made it all seem like a dream come true for the kids (and I think some adults, too!) They did a great job entertaining the kids. I had a royal tea party and tried to incorporate some "boy" things too but even they were all into Mermaids. Every kid was in awe and so happy. I will definitely be using her again!! Was worth every penny. Helped to free my time up to enjoy my daughter's day.

I was looking to do something special for my daughter , sice we were out of the country for her 5th birthday, I found this page and contacted the mermaid. She was very friendly and accomodating and answered all my questions (especially because i didint have a pool) so she gave us some suggestions of how to go about surprising my daughter, which I thought was a grea idea.
We kept in contact up until the day of the Meet & Greet. She came an hour early to set up for the "mermaid surprise". My daughter was so excited to meet her and asked So many questions, which the mermaid was quick to answer. She gave my daughter this pretty bracelet with shells and a star. She also gave my daughter a special shell (which glows in the dark). I am very happy with her service and so is my daughter.

Because my 5 year old daughter is obsessed with mermaids, we decided to surprise my daughter for her birthday with a real mermaid. From first phone call to meeting before the party, she is very sweet natured and funny as well, she asked a few questions and asked if we had any of our own as well as any last minute requests. Kylie got the shock of her life when the assistants hauled Lanai (who was known as Ariel for a bit, sorry Lanai!) out to the pool. The kids loved her and the parents did too, she takes time to answer questions and speak to the kids either together or as a whole and she doesn't leave any one out, even if she's speaking to a bunch of kids.

The sweetest thing was when some of the parents got involved in some of the games, and after her time was up Lanai came poolside and out of the water to take photos with the kids & parents as well. My little girl is so happy she loves the bracelet Lanai gave her as a special gift she wears it every day!!! I highly Recommend her mermaid services. Thanks Lanai!! I hope to see you again soon.!

While at work my friend, who is also my co-worker told me that his wife has been doing mermaid character appearances. Since my daughter is crazy about that h20 show, I contacted Rose or rather "Mermaid Lanai" to set up a mermaid meet and greet in our above ground pool. 'Lanai' and i worked together to figure out how to surprise Lindsey. My wife brought Lindsey home from school and said she recieved a special wishing stone from someone in the mail. We told my daughter to Make a mermaid wish and throw the stone into the pool.
Once the Stone fell into the pool, Mermaid Lanai swam up thrashing her tail and splashing around before diving down again, she swam up to meet Lindsey who was at this time jumping and squealing " A MERMAID!!" as loud as she could from excitement. Lanai talked with her and let Lindsey touch her tail and fins to show her how 'real' they were. The whole experience was so magical for us and our daughter. Thank you so much Lanai for helping set this up for our daughter. Lindsey still sleeps with the shell necklace you gave her.

My friend was having a Halloween party, were I saw Mermaid Lanai. My Niece Anna went crazy seeing a 'real live mermaid' at the party (in an inflatable pool none the less) Her engaging interactions with the children were delightfully charming and some of the adult guests were amazed by how realistic her tail was. She has a sweet personality; my niece didn’t want to leave her side. My niece would not stop talking about seeing a real mermaid. I will definitely be hiring her for Anna's upcoming birthday.

I hired Mermaid Lanai for my 5 year old daughters princess and pirates party, Right from the beginning she was very friendly and professional, her phone/email communication was clear and quick, we spoke details before she sent me a contract to confirm all services and details. She came early and assisted us with some pre-party decorating. Her assistant was her brother who was sweet. Right from the moment the kids saw her they fell in love, asking questions and swimming with her and touching her tail, they also did a treasure hunt too. she gave them little prizes and told them stories about her ocean friends. She even crowned my little princess. Brianna was so happy, The kids & guests loved her playful personality and her brother was awesome teaching the boys about acting like a pirate! Both were professional and so much fun, I might hire her again for Brianna's 7th. I have to say how amazing her new tail is, even the guests were amazed.
