Nicholas McNamara

Nicholas McNamara has performed as a soloist, orchestral musician and as a
member of large and small chamber ensembles at venues including Carnegie Hall,
Shermerhorn Symphony Center, Tenri Cultural Institute NYC, Northeastern University’s
Fenway Center, The Kimmel Center, and SPECTRUM NYC. He is an active performer
in Philadelphia, New York and Austin, Texas and has played for composers such as Matthew
Greenbaum, William Bolcom, Michael Djupstrom and Raoul Pleskow. Nicholas is the
saxophonist for Ensemble Leachate, recipient of the 2015/2016 Earle Brown Grant
and has most recently been heard in performances with the Curtis Symphony
Orchestra.
