Nick was the entertainer at our annual luncheon and he's wonderful. Before his show began, he went from table to table doing some magic tricks. Then his stage presentation was awesome. He really engages the audience and has a great sense of humor. After the event, I received many compliments about him from our members. His fee is also very reasonable. Our whole group would highly recommend him!

Nick was very open minded to my request for having him as a surprise magician at my brother’s bachelor party. He showed up, set up quick, and surprised the whole group with his amazing 25 minute busker performance.

We do travel videos and have ran across Nick Sharpe a few times across the county., recently at Mackinaw City, MI. Always am impressed by how he is able to draw a crowd. He is very personable, you can tell he loves people and gets great interactions with the crowd. One of the better street performers Ive seen.

What to Expect
Stage show:
A high energy show with audience interaction, comedy and magic. Performance can be time-tailored to a client's needs.
Table- Hopping/ Walk-around Magic:
This is a great ice breaker, personal, in your hands magic. It can be used in a dinner atmosphere, table to table, or while your potential clients, friends, or family mingle. Works well as a prelude to the stage show.
Festival Show / Grounds Act:
Le Rue ( Nick ) is an added bonus to any outdoor event. No announcement is needed, Le Rue is completly self contained, works well on the street, flat bed semi or any open area. ( Excluding next to loud music or rollercoaster )
About
Keeping everything in Nick's world spinning didn't come easy. In fact, it started late in life compared to the average entertainer. In 1986 at the age of 21 everything changed when he and his brother were slammed by a truck while standing on a California street corner.
After recovering and realizing life is short, Nick's focus changed. He met some key people in the entertainment field and was inspired. (Names of these key people will not be mentioned to protect the innocent.) His journey as an entertainer began.
Nick was very fortunate to land a one year internship with an award winning illusionist. That developed into a five year stage management and warm up act position. Touring with five ton of equipment taught him lights, sound and just plain theater. .

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
USEFUL INFORMATION:
One platform at least 8 'x 8' and high enough up to be seen from the knee up by all the audience.
Stairs into the audience front or side of stage.
Ability to patch into the main or house system. If unavailable a sound system can be provided.
Lights so as to be seen by all, a general wash on stage.
The audience NOT to be distanced from the stage by a dance floor.
If you want to get fancier, add a follow spot with operator.
Less can be more. Often clients think that a 75 minute show is what they want when a 30-45 minute show will leave the audience energized and wanting more.
Always request that the waitstaff not clear dishes during a show, it causes disruption.
Plotting out sight lines are important when setting up the room, keeping in mind that you want all the audience to be able to see the stage.
Make sure to allow time and space for Nick to get set up properly before the guests arrive.
