Andrew played exactly the music we wanted, some of which we had suggested and some that were in the same style. We had our wedding at 18, E18hteen York St. Andrew played for the wedding and the cocktail reception and just enhanced our entire experience. Andrew was wonderful and we highly recommend him.

Nick and band are fun fantastic and caring musicians. Our conference attendees loved them. Nick and team did a tremendous job rolling with the many moving parts of our event.

We booked the Nick Straccini Band for our wedding, and were simply blown away by their performance! When planning our wedding, having live music was one of the most important things to us, and we are so happy that we found Nick and his band - They exceeded all of our (high) expectations!

Nick put a ton of effort into selecting a set list that suited both of our tastes, and learned to play our first dance song, which will be a moment we will both treasure forever. The jazz quartet during the cocktail hour helped set the mood - and even got our 2 year old flower girl dancing!

After dinner, they kept everyone, including us, dancing all night long! Thank you Nick + Band!

Had these folks for a holiday celebration and it was delightful! The vocalist was very skilled and had our staff's children dancing in delight. The Jazz musicians were polite, professional, and very skilled. Nick was also very professional and was able to get what we were looking for in a tight turnaround time. Nick was also very responsive and overall was a great price! Would recommend!

We asked for music from the war, the 50's, 60's and 70's and that is exactly what they delivered!! The sound quality, volume and commentary were excellent for our birthday celebration!!

We used Nick's services for our wedding music. We had a few conversations about the type of music, the set time, etc. He came back to with three great options exactly along the lines of what we wanted. James was fabulous! A super-talented musician who showed up early and was ready to start right on time. He played a great set and was friendly, fun and interactive with the crowd. The party guests had many positive things to say about him throughout the show. We would hire James again!

Highly recommend! Nicholas Straccini and his band, along with a DJ absolutely killed it. They set a great vibe with fun French/Quebec songs(as was asked), and has many people up and dancing and singing throughout the night. I had many people come up to me and tell me they loved the music, and it was perfect for the event. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for good music and a fun vibe for their event.

Salome Perli turned out to be a master violinist who played all the classical music we had requested and more. She performed beautifully and added a warmth to our 40th anniversary celebration we will not forget.

Nicholas was a pleasure to work with in organizing a surprise show for my brother's birthday. He was patient in helping us work out the details, and given the short notice, was very accommodating of song requests. Nicholas even went above and beyond when he and his bassist took the time to learn a completely new song we requested, within a week of the event! Everyone at the party loved them. Would happily work with them again!

We were very pleased with Nick. He has a great voice and is a professional. He was punctual and kept every one entertained.

Nick and the band were wonderful... professional, positive, helpful and had the entire party up on the dance floor. It was a great night and we are getting tons of enthusiastic feedback from friends about it. The band was the highlight--everyone loved being able to dance and groove on a beautiful evening. Nick organized 3 parts of music for my wedding.

1. Acoustic guitar for the ceremony (by Nick).
2. Jazz trio during cocktail hour (trumpet, bass, keyboard)
3. DJ for the banquet (Nick).

Nick was attentive in the preparation up to the event. He was able to hire a Jazz Trio with the same instruments as my request and also buy vendor insurance as requested by me. He set up a professional sound system for all three components and was also accommodating with last minute changes (eg. putting a recorded speech on the speakers).

I would like to include some areas of improvement:
1. The acoustic guitar performance could have been better. It did not really resemble the songs I requested.
2. The DJing for the banquet could have been better. It did not blend music but rather did hard stops between songs.

Those are minor issues and overall I am grateful for Nick to have been part of my special day.

Would hire again!

We booked Nick back in 2020 for our 2021 wedding date and from the day one he was very much focused on giving us the best experience from beginning to end. The band was great and friendly and kept the music coming from the cocktail down to the last part of the night. Nick was also very attentive and even came up to me to apologize for something that I had not even noticed.

Over all if you do pick him he will try his best to stay on top of everything from day of logistics to song choice.

Everyone said the band was great and kept our guests dancing though out the night.

Everything was great the guests enjoyed the music and gave it rave reviews.
A few minor technical issues with set-up but that is to be expected.
I just felt that the band wanted priority over all other vendors and this was somewhat annoying.
As far as the music it was outstanding.

Nic & the guys played a great mix of 70-80 & today. They were polite, respectful & well equipped to keep our friends & family dancing all night!

Nick and his band were excellent. Nick was very accommodating and easy to deal with. I highly recommend hiring Nick.

I met Nick by coincidence... I was searching for a band for my wedding. Called him and came to the house to discuss... His voice was amazing as he sang a couple of lyricks from songs suggested then. The band was amazing and every members was professional and very kind. Nick found a way to sing some song that were dear to me, even touch it was a female artist that was signing... After earing him, I was so impressionne !!! The crowd couldn't stop talking about the amazing band that we had got. Would recommande them anytime !! You will not regret it. I am so glad we picked Nick and his band to play at our wedding and thanks to his band, he helped make this the EPIC night we dreamed of. There were initially set up outside on the deck but then a thunderstorm rolled in and thanks to their quick thinking and tenacity to move the band inside and keep playing with minimal disruption. They played everything we wanted in an amazing manner and really catered to our every need. They even surprised us with a secret song at the end that we did not expect. The Nicholas Straccini band was the bomb, they played a variety of songs, got the crowd all rawled up..people guest were happy and so were we, we highly recommend them.
