Disappointed in the quality of the performance. Was told that the song would have background music from the cell phone but it wasn’t clear enough and her voice was just off. Also the clown outfit was requested but she arrived without any costume.

Thanks for your feedback. A karaoke track was used and was loud enough for the birthday gal as she stood two feet away from me. She was grinning ear to ear, dancing and singing along with me. i was actually surprised that she came out into the sidewalk considering we are in a pandemic. I was very nervous while singing because of this but I wasn’t “off”.
When I arrived and the door opened I started the track. A man with a camera came out of the door around me and interrupted the song so I had to start it over. He had a camera and was a good 8 feet away. Also there was a young man inside the house who appeared to be recording in his phone. Please keep in mind that a recording is not going to be representative of the actual volume of the performance.
Regarding a clown costume, that was never discussed. if you had requested it I would have declined the gig. Here is what was in the contract:
Happy Birthday song by Stevie Wonder with Karaoke track. Half of song to be sung or slightly less depending on the right break in the music to stop at a good place. Phone to be used for music and lyrics. Balloon bouquet included and delivered with song.

For the first time ever, I hired a professional singer to bless my sister's birthday in Dec. 2017...and we were not disappointed. I am surprised you have provided this rating. It is contrary to the feedback that I received asking if I had a Facebook page for promotion. Regarding an introduction, I was asked by the gentleman at the door if I wanted to be introduced and said yes. I sang the song Calenar Girl as requested. This was not a song that I had memorized and I indicated that I would be using the lyrics when I provided the quote. The lyrics I was using were on a karaoke track on YouTube. The first part of the song was a short chorus and sung by backup singers. I started the song right after that on the word "January." I involved the guests and got them singing on the chorus as well. I addressed and congratulated the happy couple. I ask you questions about your parents and your family and where they were from. I thanked everyone for allowing me to be part of the special anniversary occasion. Most singing telegrams with one song average about five minutes however I was there for approximately 12 minutes I enjoyed this gig very much and appreciated the tip you gave me. All the best to you and your family.

Nicolette 's has a beautiful voice, with a warm and welcoming personality! My mother was truly blessed and came to tears hearing her sing Happy Birthday in Opera! My only disappointment was that I selected from the pictures on website for her to appear in a formal dress as a performer. It would had been excellent to have Opera attire to arrive in, but I was content with the formal dress. Nicolette said she would be coming by after work, I assumed she change clothes for the performance. She arrived in business casual and that was the only disappointment. I would hire her again, but confirm that the choices on website to select from would be honored.

I live in Colorado but wanted to give this experience to my dad for his 75th birthday. Nicolette was amazing. We requested Nicolette Erwin to do a singing telegram performance as Marilyn Monroe at the 30th anniversary celebration for the Texas Association for Mediators (TAM) in San Antonio. Specifically, we wanted to recognize the outgoing President with a surprise. Nicolette dressed as Marilyn in a platinum wig, white dress and high stiletto heels. During the Presidential lunch and member meeting, Nicolette performed to Frank Sinatra's "My Way" by changing the words to Your Way. She was very, very talented from her beautiful voice to how she performed as she strolled through the ballroom floor. Everyone thoroughly laughed and enjoyed the memorable moment. She used improv to bring in certain things she heard behind the scenes in the President's outgoing message and sauntered up to the stage to "play" a bit as we said goodbye to our President. Thank you Nicolette. We would highly recommend Nicolette not only as a singing telegram but for any singing event as her voice is beautiful.
