We had our small wedding reception at an Italian restaurant in the Philly suburbs. Nikolay was sooooo easy to work with! He provided the list of music, samples of his playing, and made a simple request to be in a shaded area with an armless chair. He was polite, easy to contact, and his music was just beautiful! My family is full of musicians and they were all very impressed by Nikolay's abilities! I would recommend him 1,000,000 times over to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing, and classy affair! Nikolay played at my wedding welcome party. He was professional, great to work with, extremely talented, and a huge hit amongst our family and friends. He played a great variety of music and our guest could not stop talking about him.

We, along with our guests, enjoyed Nikolay’s classical guitar music while celebrating our daughter’s graduation. There is something memorable that live music adds to a special occasion and classical guitar lends a romantic quality to an affair. Each note singing with clarity, the technique perfect and Nikolay a treat himself. He arrived a half hour in advance and took only a few breaks in the four hours he entertained us with a lovely repertoire.

We are so thankful we found Nikolay to play for our wedding which was in August, 2017. His repertoire is perfect for most weddings and he was able to learn a new song for our recessional 2 weeks before our wedding. Everyone was commenting afterwards how the music was perfect. I admit I gave him a pretty difficult piece of music to play and he played it fabulously. I was astonished at the church. Besides the excellent work, which he and his flutist partner did together, he, and also the flutist, are absolutely lovely people.

Nikolay was great! Our ceremony was pretty casual and we provided little direction for him. He set-up fast and in a great spot and started playing. He was really quick to respond through the whole process leading up to the wedding.

I have a Bachelor's in Guitar Performance and Music Education from West Chester University where I was the president of the WCU Guitar Ensemble. Winner of the 2012 Philadelphia Classical Guitar Society Competition and recipient of West Chester University’s Sophomore Instrumental Scholarship, I actively perform in weddings and events throughout the Philadelphia area. I have performed as a soloist at the Philadelphia Classical Guitar Society, the Wilmington Classical Guitar Society, and the Dr. Sandra F. Pritchard Mather Planetarium, to name a few.
For an event, I will need an armless chair, access to an outlet, and an extension chord if the outlet is far away. If the event is outdoors, I prefer to be placed under cover or in a shaded area. Also, I bring my own amplification equipment.
