I had an amazing experience during the burlesque performance 🎭. It was show filled high spirits and energy. During her performance, she creatively glided from one costume change after another while being able to maintain the her dance’s storyline (it was her transition from Audrey-like plant to empowering burlesque character that was channeling poison ivy vibes). The room was filled with a whirlwind of laugher and awe. Can’t wait to see her next performance in NYC!

A singer from the age of 7, Nivi Canela has starred in theatre, film, television, and cabarets in across the United States.
Nivi was a featured artist in PUNK BLACK Fest 2022 and the Union City MultiArts Festival. They have performed at such historic venues as the Jerry Orbach Theater (also known as The Theater Center), HERE Arts Center, the Provincetown Playhouse, and the AllWays Lounge and Cabaret.
