We hired Jason, aka Nokturn, as our wedding pianist in June 2024. My husband and I liked that he published covers of video game and anime music online, as we wanted to incorporate beautiful classical-sounding but nostalgic game music into our pre-wedding intro music.
We told him a bit about the games we liked but gave Jason creative license to play what he wanted. Jason even rolled with the punches when we had to coordinate with the DJ the week of the event to determine who would play which songs during and after the ceremony. And again last minute, we asked for a specific song to be played during a mid-ceremony section, and he executed it flawlessly.
In a surprise to even me, I got a bit emotional hearing his music while waiting upstairs for the ceremony to start; hearing the music made me realize our wedding vision had been brought to life. And my 10-year-old nephew got a kick out of hearing our Mario and Zelda easter eggs.

Nokturn is an incredible piano player and music director. I gave him a very difficult piece of new music to learn in a few days, which he had to play along with 8 actors singing and ad libbing and he pulled it off flawlessly. I would hire him again any time. And a very nice guy too, a pleasure to work with.
We hosted a little Christmas party in our apartment and Jason showed up early and played beautifully. It was the perfect cherry on top for our event and made it that much more memorable for our guests. Highly recommend!
Nokturn arrived early, dressed nicely, super friendly and talented!! Gave him a custom list of Italian music the night before the party and was able to perform every single one of my requests. He was a hit at the party and the perfect vibe for our cocktail hour.
