WORKING WITH ALLECIA HARLEY:

Initial Consultation and Preparation:
1. Allecia will host an initial consultation to learn about your objectives for the event, the planned audience, date, time, location, venue, theme, estimated length, travel requirements, and what was most successful for previous events.
2. If we agree on price, terms, and cancellation policies via contract and the deposit is received, Allecia will:
a. Secure travel arrangements and block the date(s) on her calendar.
b. Conduct 5-10 hours of organization, industry and/or product research to deepen understanding and context of the challenges and opportunities facing the anticipated attendees.
c. Modify her presentation with the most relevant stories, anecdotes, photos, and/or videos.
d. In addition, if requested:
i. Allecia will conduct short phone interviews with (3-5) individuals who will be attending the event to understand their daily challenges, opportunities and insights they’d like to learn.
ii. Allecia will shoot a pre-event video introducing some of the content or welcoming/inviting individuals to the event.
iii. Allecia will have a pre-keynote call with (the CEO, Director, and/or VPs) to develop a full perspective of the challenges and opportunities facing the team and to identify the actionable items desired.
iv. She will participate in pre-event marketing on social media

Two Weeks Prior to the Event
• Allecia will host a pre-event logistics call to confirm logistics, travel details, exchange cell phone numbers, and learn of any changes since the initial call.

Day of the Event:
• Allecia will touch base via phone call or text when she arrives on site.
• In most scenarios, Allecia travels with her videographer/photographer who records and photographs on site to increase engagement and interaction with the participants.
• Allecia makes it a priority, when travel allows, to mingle with the attendees, take selfies, connect and add value before and after the event.
• Allecia will have her own laptop, cords, plugs and backups of each in the event they are needed, as well as a backup of her customized presentation on an iPad if visuals are needed.

After the Event:
• Allecia will host a follow-up phone call to touch base and discuss feedback
• In addition, if requested:
o Allecia can record a short training video reflecting on the main takeaways from the keynote for you to share with attendees.
o Allecia can offer a follow-up, app-based course to help further the investment of the keynote and event.

ABOUT ALLECIA
Allecia is a nonprofit advisor, strategist, trainer, and facilitator on leadership and growth. She’s also the Founder and CEO of Prevention Advisory Group.

Allecia has 20+ years of real-world organizational consulting and public health experience distilled into instantly applicable strategies, behaviors, and skills to lead through change. She honed her approach while actively running her company, serving on non-profit boards, and being an engaging executive coach.

Allecia has advised nonprofit, academic, and public health organizations on how to prepare for and lead through the constantly changing landscape.

Allecia holds a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science from Spelman College. She lives in Chicago with her husband, teenage son, and their dog, Cassius Clay.
