Professionally touring Country/Americana band available for all types of events.
We are on time, friendly, kind, sober, and very easy to get along with.
Available as a 2-piece up to a 6-piece. Can perform fully amplified or a completely stripped-down acoustic to fit any space or mood you wish to create. We have played in almost any type of environment imaginable. Everyone has a good time and we always get invited back. Your friends will keep asking you, "Where did you find this band." North County Band’s sound is great. The singer has a full soulful sound, and leads the band like an orchestra conductor. Each musician is clearly accomplished at their craft, and clearly love the energy when they take the stage.
If you want a dull drab, ho-hum, run of the mill band, these guys are not for you. If your looking to add something special to your event, and have a crowd who want to listen to good musicians, consider this band !

I organize some small fundraisers for non-profits here in Fairfield, CT. Last year, the week of Christmas I ran a "Concert Fundraiser" for Operation Hope in conjunction with "The Pantry", a local food establishment. I asked Scott Smith, the head Wrangler of North County, if he & the band would play outside, under a tent for our fundraiser. He gladly obliged and his band was a huge hit. Jona Ziac masters the Dobro, Lap Steel, and lead guitar and adds such a professional feel to ALL the music the and plays. Scott's smooth vocals brings the songs to life and his rhythm guitar makes his voice even smoother. Cat Lines plays the fiddle as if she wer born in the hills of Appalachia and her voice is as strong as a Nightingale lighting up the evening sky. Peter Hill just doesn't pound the drums he plays them to enhance the songs whether its a soft ballad or a rock 'n roll country song. Bradley Clark is one of the Premier Bass players in the state and he keeps a steady beat for the band on every song. If you haven't heard these musicians you should go to one of there conerts and listen. It is an enjoyable experience you won't soon forget.

About
The North County band is the creative culmination of Chicago-born singer-songwriter Scott Smith and Texas fiddle sensation, Cat Lines. Together they summoned some of Connecticut's most seasoned and versatile musicians to compliment their songwriting craft & musical prowess and to deliver a unique signature sound. Their debut EP, "Connecticut", is widely regarded as a grass-roots collaborative effort with songs about the Nutmeg State, isolation, challenges of the modern era, and family. When the band is not touring as an original act, they keep busy playing popular cover songs at private events.
