Bob Carter, has lived most of his life in Jacksonville, Florida. Self taught on the piano and keyboards, loved music from earliest memory. Enjoys all genres of music, special influences early were primarily country and then on to Bob Seger, Bad Company, MatchBox 20, southern rock in all its forms.
Kim Besser, grew up in St. Augustine, Florida. She has always loved to sing and is a very good guitar player, as well. Her musical favorites range from James Taylor, Jimmy Buffet, Journey and Bonnie Raitt to Elle King, Neon Trees and Kelsea Ballerini.
Tom Dartez, grew up in Houston, Texas. Graduated from A&M and has a passion for tennis and guitar. Earliest musical memory- "Tears of a Clown" on my sister's rpm box record player. Likes all genre's of music but if he has to name favorites The Specials "Blank Expression" and Little Feat "Spanish Moon".
Steve Wittmeyer, grew up in Northern Virginia. Was involved in music throughout his childhood. In 1988 he moved to Jacksonville, Florida to attend JU. His influences started with The Beatles and after hearing Abby Road moved to The Stones, Aerosmith, Blue Oyster Cult, RUSH, Steve Morse and Sammy Hagar to name a few. Generally, he likes all 70's-80's hard rock/blues genres. After a few decades without a musical outlet, he took up the guitar again in his mid 40's and won't be putting it down this time.
At a very early age, Dale Eisman could be found tapping on anything he found in his family’s basement in Medina, Ohio. He joined the middle school band and set up his first drum kit at age 14. He learned to play drums by simply playing to classic rock songs on the radio. His rock-n-roll dreams were encouraged when he learned his family was moving to Jacksonville, Florida, the home of Lynyrd Skynyrd, one of his favorite bands. Dale started performing with local cover bands in college and over time he performed with various rock and country bands in local bars, pubs, festivals, and private parties throughout Florida and south Georgia. To this day, he will not pass up an opportunity to play.
Terry Lynch, grew up in and around St. Augustine, Florida. Spending his younger years surfing, fishing, playing and listening to music. His musical influences include Steely Dan, RUSH, The Allman Brothers, The Band, Neil Young, Little Feat, The Grateful Dead and more recently Avett Brothers, Lyle Lovett, Alison Krauss and most things Jam Band or New Grass. He now spends most of his time with his wife, kids, horses and various stringed instruments.
North of 40 has almost all necessary equipment for all small to medium sized events and venues, except a portable stage. For larger venues, North of 40 has worked multiple times with PRI Productions, based in Jacksonville, to provide any additional equipment and A/V shows necessary to handle the largest of shows and venues. We can work to engage them and plan your event out. Their services and past work can be viewed at (link hidden)

Our approach to our song list is a democratic one. We have six members and all enjoy generally the same music, generally all types, but each of us also has a genre we enjoy personally. Our approach to adding songs is that each member makes a proposal and we then determine whether it fits with us. This methodology is how we present a very eclectic mix of music covering almost every genre.
We have all necessary equipment for the average gig, and, for the larger shows and festivals we have played we have worked very well with PRI out of Jacksonville for the larger venue needs
