I have a team of Clydesdale horses with a white (formal) Vis-a-Vis carriage which is available for weddings, proms and other special occasions throughout the state of Maine. We take the bride & her Dad to the ceremony."are available for pictures.....take the bride & groom on a slow private ride after the wedding (with a bottle of champagne & glasses) to catch their breath before returning to the reception to greet their guests !! we can customize our service according to their varied needs....
if the white carriage is too formal for your COUNTRY STYLE wedding, I also have a larger more informal wagon on rubber tires that will seat groups of up to 14......take your wedding party along !

What to Expect
I have a choice of 2 vehicles, a white formal carriage with black velour upholstery (a white gown shows well against it !). The top can be up or down depending on the weather and in cool or rainy weather the side curtains can be attached (windows included) so you stay dry. You are allowed 3 hours of service time from the time I pick you up to go to the church....plenty of time for most weddings ! Pictures are allowed with the horses of course. After the ceremony,nthe bride & groom finds glasses and a bottle of champagne for their private ride to the reception.
The carriage will be decorated in the wedding colors, the horses clean & well-appointed and myself in tux and top hat.
The other is a rubber tired wagon which will carry a group of 14 adults ....this has been used for several country themed weddings where more family members ant to ride to the ceremony with the bride OR they want the bridesmaids/groomsmen to arrive with them. We really try our best to accommodate !
This wagon is also popular at other family functions or gatherings.....birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, picnics, corporate gatherings, etc....any place one ants to provide pleasurable horse-drawn rides for the people involved.......
I have even used this wagon as a hearse to take several Maine horsemen to their final resting places.
About
My background is in the farm life in Maine. I grew up on a dairy farm and I have had a horse since I was 5 years old. I started out sitting on the broad backs of my Dad's Belgian draft horses. With the passing years my love for horses never lessened. When I married & had the opportunity to own my own Clydesdales, I wanted to share them with the public as well as being able to pay somewhat for their upkeep. I started with an older surrey from the Amish which only took 2 people. It was a hit with the brides, so in time I obtained the white carriage in my photos

The sound ??? That would be the clip-clop clip-clop of horses hooves on the pavement & the "oooohs & aahhhhs" you will hear when folks catch sight of your arrival !
