Noteriety Acapella

We look to provide a fun and memorable a capella singing experience. We have a song list that spreads across the years and also have many Top 40 songs. We look to entertain and make sure everyone is having a good time and sometimes even encourage audience participation and teach you a little more about how A Cappella music works!

The idea of Noteriety was sparked by a group of students, all passionate about studying music outside of their busy college lives. They all wanted to give back to their community through a cappella music. Founded in the fall of 2009, Noteriety has become more well known on the U of A campus and has competed in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) For the past six years. Noteriety was awarded First place at ICCA Quarter Finals in 2019 along with several individual awards including Best Soloist, Best Vocal Percussion, Best Arrangement, and Best Choreography.

Over the past few years, we have teamed up with other a cappella groups on campus including CatCall, Dolce Voces, Enharmonics, and Amplified as well as groups from across the state for the Arizona A Cappella Festival. We also hosted UA A Cappella'a spring concert, "An Evening of A Cappella" with great success. This past year we also performed at many different events including, but not limited to, a Military Ball, a performance for Melissa Vito the Vice President Of Student Affairs at the University of Arizona, and many events around the U of A and Tucson community.

Noteriety has come a long way especially this past year, and we are ecstatic to show our audiences what else we are capable of. We look forward to expanding the group for years to come!
