Nova Sol is a musical group lead by Jan Deny(founder) from Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. For the past 10 years the band has been performing at various venues and events while releasing two albums with a third one on the way.
Basic format is guitar with sax/flute, piano or female vocalist, and is expandable to a full 7 piece band. The music is smooth jazz in a bossa nova style with a mix of pop/soulful covers including the group's original music. We cater to wedding receptions, gallery openings, bistros/restaurants, celebration of life, festivals, private parties and corporate events.
