Number One Sound-DJ Nose

Initially, I heard DJ Nose at a work event. He did such a good job playing music everyone there thoroughly enjoyed. I chatted with him for a bit there and got his card. Little did I know I would be engaged a few months later.

As soon as I started planning I knew I wanted him to be my DJ. His price point was AMAZING!!! He was absolutely the best. He had everyone, young and seasoned on the dance floor. I highly recommend DJ Nose. He will be my first choice again, when ever I host another event.

DJ Nose (Norman) did an outstanding job keeping the party moving. We had all ages at the event and everyone was having fun........We worked together on a good list of songs in advance which really helped (his idea🙂)....Then he created the perfect sequence to keep everyone dancing. Highly recommend

DJ Nose came highly recommended…and definitely came through! He dj’ed our wedding reception and my 50th bday. On a rainy, cool Sunday, he really made ua forget what was going on outside. He did not disappoint.

EVERYONE had such a great night thanks to the karaoke DJ. He had all different types of genres and songs available, which worked beautifully since our party consisted of a wide range of folks from their 20s all the way through their 60s and beyond. He kept the energy going and would absolutely love to have him back if we're ever in D.C. again for an event. Thank you!

DJ Nose played for my Mother’s 75th Birthday luncheon party and he did an absolutely fantastic job! Everyone truly enjoyed dancing and singing from Gospel to old and new school. His transition from one song to another was super smooth.
I appreciated how he listened and was very perceptive to playing a song that related to a story that my Mother shared. He’s truly the DJ to book for your event!

DJ Nose was awesome. We booked him for our company holiday party and he served as both our DJ and emcee at times. He was adaptable, accommodating, and played the perfect mix of music! Very friendly and easy to talk to, and a pleasure to work alongside. Definitely recommend for your DJ needs!

DJ Nose was amazing!! He had everyone on the dance floor throughout the whole night, from our 2 year old cousin to our 90 year old grandmother and everyone in-between. DJ Nose was extremely professional. He showed up early to set up and came prepared. He had printed out our wedding timeline and executed it flawlessly. Everyone raved about how fun and friendly he was. The children had a great time requesting songs from him. He is truly an expert at his craft. DJ Nose made sure to play all our requests and his transitions and song selections were perfect for our wedding! Thank you DJ for such a fun night!

4 days after the wedding reception and all i hear is complements on how good the music was. Dj nose is a true expert of his craft. He really created the perfect ambiance and vibe for the event. He dj’d and help facilitate the event and timed everything perfectly. His ability to transition from different genres of music was impressive. He had the party going so much we decided to extend the party and extra hour!!! Not only is he a talented dj but he is professional, easy to work with and communicates very well. Always responded quickly great energy and set up was fast and clean. You have to book him!! I 100% recommend.

DJ Nose was able to get the crowd up and moving. The group loved him so much we are ready to book him now for the next year's event. He was able to accommodate a very diverse group. There was something for everyone to get up and dance to. We really enjoyed him and can't wait until next year.

Hire this guy! If we could give him more than 5 stars, we would! He DJ’d our wedding reception and did an Excellent Job! He timed everything Perfectly, played all the songs we requested plus some other fun ones, and he got the script right (shout outs to family members, special songs, etc.) He was professional, kind, and flawless.

We hosted an adult dinner, with a surprise appearance by DJ Nose. Once the shock wore off, everyone joined in. Shocked to see themselves belting out favorite musicals, Beatles songs and Aretha. Norman, aka Number One Sound-DJ Nose, was easy to work with, in advance finding the perfect karaoke for a song that we re-wrote the lyrics. He arrived, early, quietly set up while we finished dinner, then Wow! Hit it spot on. I can not recommend him enough. He is enjoying himself, while we are singing off key. We would use him again in an instant. From other reviews, he is excellent as a DJ selecting music. Bravo, you will not be disappointed.

We hired DJ Nose to DJ at our wedding reception August 25, 2018 at the Four Seasons Hotel DC. He exceeded all expectations!

I tend to be skeptical about hiring online. So I gave him a detailed list of the songs I wanted to hear, but I told him he could add a few, and boy did he! He played songs I forgot about from the 70’s and 80’s! He was a complete perfectionist and very knowledgeable.

Also, I am an A type personality and time and quality is extremely important to me. He was always available to answer any questions I had prior to the event in a timely manner with a great personality. His sound system was top notch, which was another concern I had. He listens very well to your request. He doesn’t talk a lot, but he listens which is a great quality.

I will definitely hire him again for any future events, and I highly recommend him. He is a 5 Stars class act!

DJ Nose and his crew provided a wonderful, fun-filled 5 hours at a very competitive price for my husband's 50th birthday. Everyone said it was the best party they'd been to in years!

Norman provided the perfect music entertainment for our wedding. We had some specific and eclectic requests and about 30 kids in attendance at our family-friendly wedding. DJ nose is one of the most personable and sweetest professionals Ive contracted with! He was fun, connected with all our guests and kept the party hyped up even after his time was up. He did everything we asked and more and paid attention to small details with covering up all his wires for a professional look. Would definitely hire him again. I just hosted my daughter's wedding this past weekend and we hired Norman "DJ Nose" for the event. I was so happy we did! He was so easy to work with and did everything we asked and then some! He is a true professional and a great DJ! It appeared he had a good time too.

DJ Nose worked with us tonight for a large Independence Day event with a fireworks display. Estimated final crowd was several thousand. DJ Nose provided quality audio gear, appropriate for the size of the crowd- and was really great reading our guests and honed-in on the music they liked, which helped make our event a big success. He arrived early and stayed a little longer than planned. I should also note that this was an outdoor event in a tented pavilion, with temps in the 90s plus a pop-up t-storm that rolled through during set-up and sound-check, DJ Nose rolled with the issues and despite the unexpected surprises was able to start the music on-time. A great Emcee/DJ with good taste in music- highly recommend to anyone considering booking. (We already plan to book him for our future events!)

DJ Nose made my event great. He was so easy to deal with and played all kinds of music. His answer to all my requests for the event was "yes". I'd use him again in a second.

DC Nose was perfect! We called him for an impromptu community block party. Our community is very diverse, and DJ Nose played community appropriate music for old, young, black, white, whatever! I am still receiving calls from neighbors asking "where did you find that DJ!, he was very good!." DJ Nose, yes, and thank you on behalf Penn Branch Citizens Civic Association!

DJ Nose (Norman) DJ'd for the dance party at our wedding after the reception and we had a blast. He was very responsive and easy to work with: I sent him a list of songs I would like included and they were all there, he tracked down hard-to-find pieces for the first dance and father/bride dance, he MC'd just the right amount, and provided all equipment including strobe lights etc. Everything went perfectly and people were dancing all night, including little kids and older guests!
