¡Quiúbole! We are Mariachi Folklore. We aim to preserve the rich traditions of Mexico's culture with authentic mariachi entertainment. We offer high-quality performance for any occasion (birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, funerals, etc..) We hope to be part of your next event. See you there!!
We are a full mariachi ensemble! Vihuela, Guitarron, 3 violins, and 2 trumpets!! You're guaranteed to receive a true mariachi experience. Harp upon request.

Mariachi Folklore went above and beyond with their performance for my grandmother’s 83rd birthday. Everything was played so beautifully and it tugged on a heartstring of mine that made me want to cry and smile and squeeze my grandmother all at the same time. She was balling at the start of them playing “Las Mañanitas”. They also accommodated us after a last-minute schedule change. They’re so generous and friendly and entertaining. I would love to have them again and again not just for birthdays but for any occasion. I am so thankful for them providing a service that one could never pay enough money for. They made my grandmother so incredibly happy.

What to Expect
Mariachi Folklore will play 45 minutes of music and take a 15 minute break for every hour played. First hour is a complete hour. (Se tocaran 45 minutos de musica con 15 minutos de descanso por cada hora. Primera hora se tocará completo.)
About
Director: Oscar Garibay, M.A.
Oscar Garibay, acclaimed trumpet performer based in southern California is recognized as a versatile musician. As a classical instrumentalist, Mr. Garibay has won concerto competitions and internationally toured with several orchestras and bands. As a Mariachi, Garibay has performed on tour with Grammy Award-winning Mariachi Los Camperos. He has also accompanied critically acclaimed artists which include: Steven Sandoval, Lupita Infante, and Leo Dan.
Mr. Garibay is a pioneer in Mariachi Education. Under the mentorship of Mariachi Sol de Mexico director, Jose Hernandez, Garibay became one of the founding teachers of the Jose Hernandez Mariachi Academy. Currently, Garibay is a full-time Mariachi Director in Santa Ana Unified School District, where he leads
Mariachi Los Santos of Santa Ana High School’s SanArts Conservatory.
Garibay was born and raised in Davis, California. He received a double bachelor’s in Music Education and Performance from Sacramento State University and a Masters of Music in Performance from California State University, Long Beach.
