We play classic favorites of the 60's and 70's that everyone knows and loves. We are a five piece band featuring gorgeous 3 part harmonies (2 females and 1 male vocal), flute, keyboard, bass, acoustic and electric guitars and percussion (no drum kit). We play selections by the Eagles, CSNY, Tom Petty, Linda Ronstadt, and others from that era and genre. We have performed for many events and venues in central Ohio, including festivals, private parties, various venues, farmer's markets and others. We feature great vocals, professional musicianship and an engaging stage presence. We've played in various configurations for over 20 years. References are available.
SourcePoint has a weekly live music program, LIVE on Cheshire, and Of Sound Minds is one of the crowd's favorite groups. This Quintet is not only musically talented, they are true entertainers. They engage audiences through fun banter and lively music. Every time they perform, they have folks up dancing, clapping their hands, and thoroughly enjoying themselves. In fact, I have already booked this band again for two more events in 2023 and I have folks counting down the days until Of Sound Minds performs again!
Of Sound Minds has performed for a CD artery of events at the Delaware Boardman Arts Park. Whether we need a trio a duo or something else, they can accommodate and it works beautifully. It’s such a blessing to have this asset in our community.
Of Sound Minds has been our Entertainers here at Burr Oak Commons for our Christmas Party, Kentucky Derby Party and Summer Social. The residents love how they all interact with them and keep the party going! We know that as soon as they start playing that it's going to be a good time!

We feature quality musicianship, gorgeous 3 part harmonies, and engaging personalities that will guarantee our audience will enjoy hearing us as much as we will performing for them. We play a wide selection of songs from classic rock, soft rock, folk, country and more. We can put on a full concert or provide ambient background music for any event or venue. We've played festivals, private parties, wineries and brew pubs, corporate events, senior living communties and more. Pam Beery (flutist/keyboard/vocalist) was a music and drama teacher and played the first flute chair in the Central Ohio Symphony for over 35 years. Bob Claymier (guitar) has played guitar for over 50 years and now teaches guitar in Delaware, OH. Mark Papenhousen (bass/vocals) has played in numerous bands for over 30 years. Barb Travis (guitar/vocals) was a music teacher, toured Europe as a musician and has sung professionally for over 20 years. Mark Travis (percussion) has played in several bands over the last 10 years.
We provide all our own sound equipment. We would need one electric outlet. We can play inside or out, but would need some sort of shade or shelter for an outside performance and lighting for an evening performance.
