World on A String Quartet (formerly called Oklahoma City String Quartet) provides string ensembles for weddings, corporate functions, private parties, holiday events, church services and other occasions in the OK metro area. The group has a large library of classical, rock/pop, jazz and holiday music. Let us know how we can enhance your event!

The music was so beautiful! I requested a lesser known song during my wedding, and they had no problem recreating it perfectly. Would definitely recommend!

Laura and her ensemble of three other string players provided wonderful string quartet music for my parents’ 50th anniversary party. When I contacted her she was friendly, helpful and professional throughout my time working with her. I did not have specific piece selections in mind and Laura provided superb recommendations for me! I just told her the general style my parents were looking for and she came up with the play list! If you’re looking for a professional musician that can provide a nice range of music genres, then by all means call Laura!
We had them play our small wedding at Mickey Mantle's steakhouse. They were wonderful and easy going with the room changes. Highly recommended.
The OKC String Quartet was absolutely amazing!! We were thrilled with the ambience they created, and our wedding guests had nothing but praise for the wonderful job they did! It truly enhanced the event greatly, and we are so grateful that we chose them! Musicians always wear uniforms of professional all black dress, unless a client prefers tuxedos for men, i.e. "concert dress."
Quartet members have instrumental performance degrees or extensive higher education music instruction and play regularly with orchestras such as the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, Tulsa Symphony, and the Fort Smith Symphony.
