I specialize in 1 1/2 to 2 hour shows/performances for senior citizen homes. My show "OLD AGE ASIN'T FOR SISSIES!" is a combination of humorous and poignant videos projected onto a screen or a large television interspersed with live commentary explaining how the video is relevant to the subject of having lived to senior-hood. Between videos I also tell funny old jokes that may or may not have anything to do with the preceding or following video on screen. Subjects covered in the videos range from first love, mid-life love, lost love, dieting, big box shopping, water volley ball for seniors, mama, decision making between married couples, tattoos and lots more. All fun stuff.

The folks who come to see my performance will be greatly entertained from beginning to end. There is no smut or foul language EVER but there is innuendo aplenty since the audiences will mostly consist of senior citizens who have all been around the block a couple of times. All of the videos have words that are clearly understood and there are no screaming guitars or blasting drums or sound effects. I have placed closed captions at the bottom of all videos so the hard of hearing can also enjoy the show. All of the songs relate to subjects we have all experienced in getting from the cradle and mama to where we are today and where we may be tomorrow. All done in a humorous, soft touch manner.
I am a songwriter/performer and have been doing it off and on for over forty years. I dropped out several years ago while fighting Leukemia but with the help of some great doctors and some miracle drugs, I am now in remission and back to being able to and wanting to perform in front of audiences once again. I have created some videos of some of my original songs pertaining to the many things senior citizens have experienced in common in reaching their golden years. While introducing each song /video I throw in some silly jokes that will keep you laughing. Watch my promo video then call for me. My posters advertising my performances have always stated "55 and over $25. 45 to 50 years old $20 (Because you might not relate completely.) Under 50 years old, Go away kid, ya' bother me.
In a normal-sized meeting room my act requires either a large-screen television with an available port for a thumb drive or a large movie screen such as a slide show would be projected on. If a stage is available I can use that or I can perform from a standing position at floor level. I will provide my own sound system for my voice and guitar for singing and playing as well as introducing the videos and telling jokes. If there is a built-in sound system in the room I can hook into that should that would be preferred.
In larger venues, proper sound and visual equipment will be required to be provided by the persons putting on the entertainment
