Old Fart Magic

I perform close up / walk around magic with an assortment of everyday items everyone is familiar with. Some involve black magic (in name only), most require audience participation and all result in, "How did that Old Fart do that?"

I've done shows in basements, backyards, living rooms. kitchens, hotel rooms, conventions, festivals, expositions, assisted living facilities and more. Every show is unique to the audience.

Most of my shows are an hour long, but I've performed at all day conventions as well (including after hours parties). I structure my shows to the requests of the event planner.

I encourage audience participation as I believe magic leaves a lasting impression when you're part of the act. Those can include predictions, challenges, imagination skits, card tricks and much more.

I'm a Marine Corps veteran, retired Commercial Pilot and Kenpo Karate Sensei. I've traveled the world and lived on both coasts and one thing I've taken away from my travels is that everyone just wants to avoid drama and enjoy the moment.

I was inspired to start my magic business after witnessing so many people be amazed at my impromptu street, business and home performances. I started performing magic to entertain my family and friends, and then expanded that into my corporate sale presentations. Let's face it - magic is fun, very entertaining and rememberable.

I'd say clients should select Old Fart Magic as it's affordable, extremely entertaining and unique. There won't be any gorgeous women as stage assistants (oh well). Maybe I can invite Grandma.
