I am a rapper, producer and multi-instrumentalist based in Philadelphia, PA. My debut project is called “Crimson”. A dense 7-track tape that explores mental health problems, addiction, and frustration with the world at large. As a black trans man, I believe I can bring a new voice to conscious rap. My music is “Glam Rap”, a flamboyant genre that takes influence from the glam rockers and funk stars of the 70s and 80s. Over the past six months, I’ve built a five-piece band. This band does not play my songs as jazz or funk covers; we use synths, pedals and drum pads to make my music come alive. I feel incredibly strongly that modern rap beats can be translated to a live form.
