I currently perform throughout the Jacksonville Florida area along with North Carolina. I come from a family of entertainers and I have enjoyed playing professionally since the mid 1990's.
Play classic rock : everything from Johnny Cash , James taylor, Eagles ,Buffet to Tom Petty, Neil Young, Simon & Garfunkel,John Denver, Rem and CCR. Background music as well.

Hired as a guitarist to perform for my father’s funeral service, graveside. When I say he over-delivered, I mean it! He played the songs I requested and added a couple of great choices! He also played the harmonica and sang!! He truly made the service something special that my dad would have loved!

Born 1968 in Utica, New York, Scott was exposed to music at an early age. His father played bass guitar and piano in a local band, (Carnival). At the age of 6 his parents separated and soon after moved with his mother to her home state of Florida. Scott’s musical and entertainment lineage goes back past the Vaudeville days.
He recalls early memories of his grandfather, (Curley Dekle ) who was an active musician and entertainer all around the South, picking his old National Dobro and then later listening and playing music with his stepfather late into the night around campfires.
Being self-taught and drawing inspiration from listening to his mother’s old LP’s and jamming with is cousins. Scott learned covers from bands and artists like America, C.C.R., Leonard Syknard, Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley and The Kinks. While in high school he started an 80’s Rock band for a short time, Called “Duce X2”.
Scott Elley first became serious about performing while attending the University of North Florida during the mid-'90s and would frequent college party’s with guitar in hand. Playing songs by artist like: James Taylor, Tom Petty, Neil Young, R.E.M., The Doors, and Credence Clear Water Revival.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree he moved to North Carolina teaching art and 2003 really engaging into songwriting, playing his original music at Festivals in and around the Blue Ridge parkway.
In 2009 moved to New York City where he honed his skills playing in the streets and bars of Midtown Manhattan. Scott presently resides in Jacksonville, Florida and plays at Country Clubs, lounges, restaurants pubs and private parties.
His music is characterized by varied guitar rhythms along with seamless harmonica playing intertwining his lyrics. He has a broad vocal range and soft tone. He puts a unique twists to covers songs and is truly and one-man-band
