My mission is providing inspired music to enhance the memories of your special event. With a myriad orchestral, operatic, and theatre experiences, I contribute a wide array of nuances to various genres of instrumental and vocal music. My repertoire ranges from the Baroque period to modern musical theatre with which gives me the skill to offer you genuine and professional performances for your various occasions. I am familiar with different Christian liturgies and invite the opportunity to experience different cultures. Please consider allowing me to share my passion with you and your loved ones.

I secured Malcolm's services for a worship service I was planning. Malcolm was quick to reply, and we came to an agreement quickly, and effortlessly. He suggested repertoire for the service, and it was absolutely perfect. He provided me with sheet music for the service, and couldn't have made it any easier. Malcolm is a genuinely nice and friendly person, and a true professional. Then when he opened his mouth to sing, I was truly impressed. Malcolm possesses a large clarion voice that is even from top to bottom. His voice is absolutely beautiful, and he sings from his heart. He doesn't stand and sing, he "performs". He is very musical, and you believe every word he sings. Everyone who attended the service offered him praises. I hope to have Malcolm return for a future event ASAP. Thank you, Malcolm for making everyone's day that much brighter with your amazing voice.

About
Malcolm Payne Jr. is a recent graduate from the University of North Texas. Some of his favorite vocal performances include Sounds of Summertime with Fort Worth Opera, John Proctor in The Crucible at Berlin Opera Academy, Jim in Porgy and Bess at Fort Worth Opera, and Papageno in The Magic Flute at Central Florida Lyric Opera. Before the pandemic, Payne toured with The Dallas Opera's Educational Outreach Program as a teaching artist for five years. Previous flute engagements include Principal Flute/Piccolo with the Mansfield Philharmonic Orchestra, Principal Flute for the University of North Texas Symphonic Band, and Soloist with the University of North Texas Opera.
