We are a female-owned quartet in Annapolis. We offer a solo violin, violin trio, violin duo, or full-string quartet (two violins, one cello, and one viola). We offer a classical wedding and corporate event repertoire representing well-known classical arrangements. We also offer pop covers and can accommodate special requests.
Violinist: Alexandra (Ali) Crosby

Ali earned a New York State Teaching Certificate in Visual Art while living in NYC (phone number hidden)3. She re-located to Maryland and maintains a full teaching schedule at Music and Arts in Crofton and Bowie Maryland locations. She teaches violin and painting privately and plays in the Londontowne Symphony Orchestra.
Ali, a violinist of 28 years, spent the formative years of her violin education at Peabody Preparatory in Baltimore (phone number hidden)6. While earning her BFA in 2009 at Syracuse University, Ali performed with a quartet and pursued lessons. Having graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art with her MA in Critical Studies (or art theory), she attended artist residencies like the New York Studio Schools Rome Art Program, Chautauqua Institution 2007 and 2015, and Vermont Studio Center when she lived in Saratoga Springs, NY. She played in the giging "Drank the Gold" quartet, and soon after Ali was offered a position in which she took teaching violin at the Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs 2020 - 21. She taught violin at Music and Arts Lesson Studio in 2018 - Present and was an active member of the Music Company Orchestra (phone number hidden)2.

Using her personal experiences and understanding of music theory, Dami teaches a busy private cello studio and leads traditional Korean drumming workshops in the DC/Metro area. Being versatile and open to just about anything, Dami has performed in venues ranging from urban art galleries to concert halls and records frequently as a session cellist for Baltimore area artists.
Dedicated to enriching her communities, Dami has been an adjudicator for county Solo & Ensemble Festivals, served as board member for the Howard County Arts Council, and is currently an active board member of The Columbia Orchestra and the Asian Arts and Culture Center of Towson University.
