Ostrich Hat, The band with the crazy name wants to make your next private party, wedding or corporate function a memorable one!
Don't settle for the typical, over priced private party band, playing halfheartedly through tired standards. Let us turn up the energy and throw a real party!
I have worked with the band for almost 8 years and they have absolutely killed every gig I have ever seen or heard them play. They are a pleasure to work with from start to finish and their music is amazing. You know when you look at someone smiling and they make you want to smile? When you watch how much genuine fun the band has playing together, it makes your entire party want to get out and dance. They have a huge list of songs that span the decades and they murder the classics. I can say with sincerity that Ostrich Hat has gotten better with time. Their entire production is amazing. There is no dead time in sets and they give you thier all when they are on. I have worked with the band for many parties and most recently my wedding.
Ostrich Hat entertains - bottom line. I’ve never been to a Hat show that I didn’t leave thinking “man, that was awesome!”
Ostrich Hat played my wedding and I could not have been happier with our choice to hire them. The guys are super talented musically and really great performers. They played to my guests and made sure everyone had a great time. Having them being super entertaining and interactive made my wedding so much fun. Many of my family members told me Ostrich Hat was the best wedding band they'd ever seen. Further - Jeff and the guys were extremely professional and kept clear lines of communication leading up to my wedding day so there was no confusion or disorganization. We can't recommend them highly enough - they are awesome!
Love going places to see Ostrich Hat. Fun band with great song variety selection. As super fans, we hired them for our wedding and the dance floor was packed!
Ostrich Hat is an amazing wedding band or for any occasion. The band members are very professional, friendly and accommodating. They help lead you through the process and explain everything. They are super talented and fun! They are great for parties and events. The music is catered to your liking.
Ostrich Hat has the coolest shirts when they perform. Oh yeah, they also pay a great selection of popular music and have a sexy drummer.
10 Stars plus, I had seen the band at Funfest ready to go out of my mobility scooter and dance especially to "Cotton Eyed Joe" or "Footloose" I cannot wait to see them again. Great time!
Response from Ostrich Hat:
Thank you so much Charlotte! We hope we can do Hazleton's Funfest celebration again in 2020!
This band is diverse and so much fun! They play a lot of current songs and they can play oldies as well!

Absolutely incredible experience. Hiring Ostrich Hat was one of the best decisions for wedding planning. Easy to contact, reasonably priced, accommodating. Made the reception memorable and quite a party, great compliments and memories from all our guests.
Jamie B:
Ostrich Hat was absolutely fantastic at our class reunion. They provided such a fun atmosphere that everyone who attended enjoyed, and took the time out to make sure their song list was exactly reminiscent of the decade we spent our school days. Thanks guys, it was a great night!
Jen M:
Great band! Ostrich Hat just played our 20 year high school reunion this past Saturday and did an awesome job! Great music and everyone had an awesome time! We even asked if they would play a little longer. Jeff was very easy to work with and made sure we had all requests in beforehand to make sure we got the music we wanted! Definitely will hire them again!
Jordan S:
We hired Ostrich Hat to play at our wedding and they were incredible. They learned to play our first dance and the mother/son dance (which were pretty obscure tunes). They were professional and a pleasure to deal with every step of the way. They were also one of the most reasonably priced bands out there. I would absolutely hire them again and couldn't recommend them highly enough.
Jo B:
Ostrich hat provided an excellent mix of music that ALL my wedding guests enjoyed. ...from the very young to the older crowd. Their show presence and their electricity had the entire wedding reception dancing, laughing, and genuinely enjoying themselves the entire night! Loved them!!
Julie K.
Always our favorite band to go out and see. As a result, we hired them for our wedding. They were awesome. Good variety of songs that had all ages on the dance floor. Ostrich Hat made our wedding more awesome!

Having the Ostrich Hat play at our black tie fundraiser was one of the best decisions we made. They are very talented and know how to entertain your guests all night! Everyone had a blast!

Awesome group of professionals. A must see at any venue!
Arrival and Set Up Requirements:
Since we want to provide you with the best performance possible for your occasion the Band should have access to the stage/performance area approximately 1.5 hours before the guests arrive on the day of the performance. This will allow for proper placement of equipment, locating adequate power sources, and completing a formal sound check. The stage/performance area must also allow easy unloading before the performance and re-loading after the performance.
Electrical Requirements:
Two 120 volt outlets (3 prong grounded) from a reliable power source within 50 feet of set up area/stage. Additional outlets on separate circuits for lighting preferred.
Outdoor Requirements:
If this is an outdoor event, a heavy-duty tent or adequate temporary structure must be provided, allowing adequate protection for band members, musical instruments, live electrical wiring, and all sound equipment. If inclement weather persists before or during the performance (examples: heavy rain, high winds) an indoor alternative must be provided. Striking of the stage area and re-set up may effect the performance time contracted.
