Our Rock

Anyone experiencing Our Rock in concert will hear the word of God in music and testimony. Our commitment is to bring God's word and people together in a way the allows the Holy Spirit to touch, convict, heal, clean, comfort, and encourage the hearts of people. Drawing from plenty of life experience, including triumphs and mistakes, we can boldly proclaim the great news that God is truly "Our Rock", in whom we trust.

Our Rock was formed in the early 1990's as a forum for bringing updated classics to area churches. Since that time the band has released 4 CD's of mixed original and cover songs. Of the 5 members of Our Rock today, 1 of them is the original founder and all 5 members are active in their church ministries, having each one been saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ (Eph. 2:8-9) and actively encourages everyone to accept that precious gift (Eph. 2:10). Our Rock comes with their own sound system and audio engineer with the ability to integrate other artists into the performance as well. Performances can be tailored from 30 to 120 minutes as requested by our hosts. Our heart is to serve God and His church by using the gift and medium of music to encourage, strengthen, reveal Him, rebuke, warn, draw, etc. These obviously are the work of the Holy Spirit whom we rely on to minister through us. Our music represents pages from classic hymns to contemporary praise and worship and on to original pieces that God has given through our relationship with Him. These will be integrated into the performance based on the type of event. Thank you for considering Our Rock.
