I wasn't sure how Oxymorons were going to get my group to engage and participate but absolutely EVERYONE had an amazing time. The plot was engaging, the actors were hilarious and the improvisation was just unbelievable. I can't give them a high enough review!

This was my first improv show that I’ve been to and I loved it! The cast was great at engaging with the audience and came up with hilarious scenarios on the spot while letting the audience members chime in with ideas that they would just roll with. Overall a really fun experience & would definitely recommend!

I’m a huge fan of the Oxymorons. I’ve been to a few of their performances, and they are HILARIOUS!!!! Every person on the team is so funny! I always bring friends to see them and everyone had a blast!! I would highly recommend anyone to see their performances!!!!

The show definitely got better about half way through when the actors took our advice but the group overall didn’t adjust well to the atmosphere. People had trouble hearing them, they weren’t necessarily speaking toward the audience. The actors were good though. I would recommend more microphones or the smaller headsets for a larger group. Overall, people were happy at the end, but not necessarily leading up to the murder.

We had Sara lead our group of 60 in Family Feud. There was lots of opportunity for audience involvement without pressure. It was a fun and memorable last day for our faculty as they headed out for summer. Highly recommend and hope to use them again in the future.

Andy & Franny did an outstanding job at our company holiday party on 01-28-23. They were so much fun & professional as well. This is the second time our company has booked them & they did not disappoint. Everyone enjoyed them & would book again!

I hired them to come do a show at my restaurant and everyone had such an amazing time! We did the 1920s themed murder mystery dinner and I can’t wait to have them back to try another theme!

We had a great experience with our Company Holiday Party. Franny and Toby were wonderful as Jack Frost and Candy Cane and was able to get our usually quiet group of employees involved in the mystery of who killed one of the elves.

We hosted the Oxymorons as part of our teacher appreciation celebration dinner. Easy to work with. Found out exactly what kind of show we wanted, got there early to spend some time getting to know the room and then performed a unique one of a kind show. Had everyone laughing for a solid hour and even got some folks “ out of their shell” and a part of the show. A great time and an unique experience. The teachers were already asking about next year during the show.

Game show was great, kids were in and out and it was great! Will def book again for next year.

The group was on time and super funny. We had a great time and would hire them again!

The Oxymorons group was super flexible with a short timeframe for booking AND an unplanned reschedule of our event. They recommended a series of games based on our time available and our team loved them. There were comments on slack about how fun they were for a solid 2 weeks after the event.

My only wish is I'd reserved more time in our event agenda for the troupe!

Our virtual holiday party actually worked! It was lively and inspired, and the Oxymorons, with their quick wits made it fun and interactive. The big boss was thrilled and said he thought it went beautifully. Staff members reached out afterwords to say they had fun and really enjoyed it. Having them host our event was definitely worth it.

We had so much fun! Since this was husband's 50th b-day, I wanted to do something special, so we hired Oxymoron to host a virtual game night. The games they planned had everyone involved and cracking up laughing. I really appreciated that Oxymoron gave me an opportunity to select from a list of game options, including a quiz on how well everyone knew my husband. Here's what some of our friends said afterwards: "we had a great time," "amazing....so fun!" and "what a fantastically fun gathering!" I highly recommend....guaranteed fun!

I booked the Oxymorons for a formal ball that I was hosting and they did NOT disappoint. From start to finish, their sketches were interactive, engaging, and (most importantly) FUNNY!! They brought an experienced team that clearly works well together and made our guests bust a gut from all of the shenanigans taking place. They were VERY accommodating to our "PG-13" request for the show and made sure to present material that was funny without being overtly offensive towards anyone. I would definitely recommend them for any type of function you are having.

I had this group for a home Christmas party for my kids and grandkids. The grandchildren ranged in ages from 11 to 19, and everyone totally enjoyed their show. They were very interactive with the whole group and everyone got to participate. They were so spontaneous in the skits after various members of my family selected a theme. Everyone was laughing the whole time. I would highly recommend them for any event. The adults were so impressed, they are planning to go see them in the comedy club where they perform.

We hired the Oxymoron's for our company Christmas party this year and they were a Blast! From start to finish they were easy to work with. They kept our large rowdy crowd entertained the whole time. I highly recommend hiring them for your entertainment! You won't be sorry. Thanks again Oxymoron's!

The self described “morons” were flexible, ready to go, and had our staff involved in almost ever gag. Lots of talk the next day at work about our surprising stars of the show. I would recommend if you need some laughs at your next work holiday party.

The Oxymorons participated in the first-ever York Fringe Festival as part of our Friday Improv Showcase. Not only were they a crowd favorite, but they were great to work with leading up to the event.

Show was great, everyone on our team had a great time.

With 600 new freshmen in the outdoor pavillion, it certainly was a challenging group of 18 year-olds to entertain. But these fellows did an outstanding job in engaging with the students. Material was PG and G -- great job! Would bring them back to entertain our upperclassmen in an indoor venue.

We needed a "shot of laughter" after our academic presentations. The Oxymorons Improv comedians had everyone in stiches in just the first couple of minutes! I will definitely call them again in the future!

Having brought the Oxymorons onto campus previously, I thought it would benefit students to bring them back for a student Leadership retreat. My instincts served me correctly. Students were engaged and entertained throughout the entire program. The Oxymorons excelled at incorporating the audience into the program and provided an opportunity for students to dialogue about successful incorporation of audience into programming.

Our Management Consulting firm hired the Oxymorons to help us collaborate with each other and our clients more effectively through the application of improv skills. Sara and the rest of the group did a great job communicating, planning, and executing the event. They taught us more about collaboration in 90 minutes than we likely could have learned all day at a business seminar. We consider ourselves a unique company with great people and now thanks to the Oxymorons we have added a unique skill set which will help us to innovate. We can't thank them enough.

It was a fun night for all of us. No one was dragged onto stage and we were welcome to participate. Improv is a very challenging medium and they did it very well. I would go see them again.

So much fun! Completely engaged the team/audience. Never a lull in the laughter. This was a great break for our team of about 50 people. I would absolutely recommend the group for a setting like this.

We hired the Oxymoron Improv group to entertain 60 13 year olds at our daughter's Bat Mitzvah this past weekend. They were amazing. They kept the kids entertained and engaged the entire time. They were able to work within the rules of a conservative synagogue and create an experience that was fun for everyone. We would hire them again and you should as well!

I loved the show! I thoroughly enjoyed the Oxymorons and would highly recommend that anyone looking for a great evening of laughs, fun and entertainment should check them out. Improv is a difficult medium to say the least, and this group exceeded my expectations. I hope to catch another show soon!

The Oxymorons are so much fun! I saw one of their first shows and had a great time...the comedy was original and I was amazed at the creativity of the group...just a really enjoyable evening out!!

As a college administrator, I wanted to check this group out before deciding to book them at my campus. They put on a wildly entertaining show that had the students rolling in the aisles. I was extremely impressed with how they integrated the audience into their act and, despite a large group of people, were able to create an intimate experience for everyone. It was very engaging and very fun. I will definitely be booking them at my campus soon.

Yes. This is the second review I am writing for Oxymorons Improv because, well, they are well worth the many glowing words I have to say about them! This group is incredibly talented, quick-witted,creative, and they just simply share excellent and natural theatrical chemistry ... it's obvious. Go see them. I appreciate the way that they play off of one another with seemingly no effort! Also, Sara is a hoot! Seriously, add laughing in the presence of the Oxymorons to your list of things to do ... after all, they say that laughing is therapeutic. And you'll do a lot of that with them.

The group was able to get the audience constantly both laughing and participating while keeping a good flow to the show. The men were very funny but the ladies outshone everyone and gave the audience their biggest laughs of the night. I would definitely see them again.

I was lucky enough to witness the Moron's first show, and was amazed at their talent! And as the group has changed and grown, my favourite member by far has to be Sara...she is great! All of the Morons bring something different to each show, and between the five of them there is always something to laugh about. One of the most professional and approachable comedy troupes I have ever seen!!!!

I am so excited I was able to see the "morons" in action on Sunday! The five of them put on a fantastic show! I really enjoyed the dating game and the mannequins. The two girls were hilarious, adorable and feisty - the hostess did a great job. The guys were equally hilarious and entertaining. This is one witty group I cannot wait to see again!

This group is simply amazing! "Who's Line" used to be among my favorite shows, but having luckily discovered the Oxymoron's, headed by a comedically brilliant Sarah, quick, witty, and unafraid to take risks, I'd much rather go to one of their live shows any day. If you live anywhere in PA, it's more than worth your time to check them out! They'll make your day 1000 times better :)

I've seen the Oxymorons twice and have had a blast both times! All of the members are quick, sharp and so full of energy. You can't help but laugh out loud. They play really well off of one another and each brings a unique characteristic to the stage. At this particular show, our hostess Sara kept things moving along and helped guide the audience toward supplying some really funny scenarios for the different skits. Overall just a really fun experience.

This was my second time seeing the Morons and I thought the show would dip a little from the first show. I am pleased to say that it didn't. The Morons once again brought their A-game. The energy was wonderful, as usual, and the crowd really seemed to enjoy the very different personalities of all the Morons. They're a very cohesive group, from smallest to tallest, and I'm confident that they'll continue to grow as a group as time goes on. There's definitely a certain 'something' there, and sometimes, mixed with that amount of talent, that's all you need.

Overall, I enjoyed the Oxymorons show. While I understand that improv comedy can be greatly influenced by the audience, I felt like sometimes this group didn’t know how to properly feed of the crowd it was given. The girl that tried to run things was the least talented member of the troupe, by far, and therefore rarely picked the funniest suggestions from the crowd. She always picked the safe choices that were easiest on the comedians. And when she was in skits she was boring- she really took the show down a level or two. The three guys were all very strong performers, Toby clearly has the best comedic timing while Andy and Randy were simply charming. The little tiny girl was very good- she was eager to make sure the crowd was having fun and she really was hilarious at times. It did seem a little thrown together- we had to wait for awhile for the room to be “open” for us to go in and the check-in station wasn’t that professional. I believe they are still a pretty new group, so I hope they work out the kinks in the near future. Maybe the leader girl should just be the MC and not try to be funny? Worth checking out though.

I just saw this group for the first time this week in their "throwdown" with Don't Break the Streak. It was hilarious watching them all jump in and feed off each other. I'm hoping to check them out again very soon. If you're looking for an entertaining evening that's funny as hell, I highly recommend these guys.

Hi ALL - As a Venue Owner, I have learned a few things. One is that Entertainers can be a pain to deal with AND ... TWO- The "Morons" were NOT!!!
They were a blast from start to finish! We are having them back (many times I hope) and are even planning a couple of "special events". I write this review to encourage any Owner looking for something different to give them a call!!!

Oxymorons performed an evening of Improv at the Gamut Theatre in conjunction with our in-house troupe TMI. They're great folks and easy to work with but serious about being funny.

How funny are they? While I was watching them I laughed so hard that soda shot out of my nose.

And I was not drinking soda.

The Oxymorons joined T.M.I. (Gamut Theatre's improvisational troupe) for a performance at Gamut Theatre. We were thrilled with the performance. Each troupe presented their own set, and then joined for a group game at the end. We felt both improv troupes raised their games by performing together.

This improv group was great! They really took whatever you through out at them and ran with it. Their quick thinking was amazing, and everything was hilarious. I would definitely see them again, and suggest them to others.

I've seen The Oxymorons on numerous occasions, and they get better each time I see them. They can work with any suggestion given to them during a show and turn it into pure gold. They are very interactive with their audience and incorporate them as much as possible in each show. Definitely a group to keep an eye on in the future. They have the talent, and a great work ethic. If you ever get the chance to see an Oxymoron show, don't miss it.

The Oxymorons make for a delightful show! They have an enviable knack for hilarity. Besides producing comedy at a moment's notice, the Oxymorons interact with their audience consistently, effectively creating a more intimate feel, which increases the fun! I will definitely check out future Oxymoron shows.

The Oxymorons are uber (yes, I did say "uber", and I mean it) fantastic. Their improv games are varied, creative, and highly entertaining. These guys and gals have great theatrical chemistry and play off of one another like it's nobody's business! My favorite game is Closed Captioning without a doubt... I have seen them perform multiple teams and am looking forward to more morons in my life in the future!

If you need a good laugh, this is your gig. I had so much fun! So funny, so clever! The Oxymorons are professional, entertaining, and fun. They laugh with you, not "at" you. And if you're not laughing out loud, you must be dead.

The Oxymorons are definately one of the best Improv Troupes I have seen! I haven't laughed that hard in ages, and I'm not easily impressed by Improv Comedy.

The Oxymorons are a great improv group. Their short form performance based improv comedy style was perfect for our event. They enraptured the popular "Who's Line" comedy spirit that really engaged the crowd. I run a weekly Wednesday night comedy show where I normally book standup comedians, but wanted a change. I became a standup comedienne and actor through my love of improv. I really enjoyed having the Oxymorons play at our venue - and they even let me join in on a few games! Professional, fun, friendly, easy to work with - anyone would be happy hiring The Oxymorons for their venue or event!
