Denise came to my daughter’s 7th birthday and was such a special addition. The kids couldn’t wait to get their faces painted as each design was unique and stunning. The adults even joked about having their faces painted as well because she is such a talent. In addition to her artistic abilities, she is a very kind and patient professional. We hired Denise from Painted Party for an event that raises awareness for children who have special needs the Walk With Angels. She was absolutely amazing to work with before the event. The day of the event was hectic for me and she just came and got right to work and the kids LOVED LOVED LOVED it. She was so friendly to the kids, she did amazing full designs and was so fast at them it amazed me. My three daughters were all smiles and in fact at the end of the night I was getting my two year old ready for bed and she threw a fit that I was taking her pretty face paint off. It was my first time booking something like this for my son birthday party and I wasn't sure how it was going to work out. But I really wanted to try something new and different, So i booked them and im so glad i did she did such an amazing job and she was so nice to all of my family and specially the kids. My son absolutely loved it specially when she painted his face with the character that he wanted and all of the kids had an amazing time. And if i were to do it again i would sure get them to do it again.

I'll need about a 6' x 6' space to set up my suitcase kit, preferably on a hard, wipeable surface that can handle an occasional brush drop and glitter. I bring a full makeup palette (paints) full of beautiful colors and rainbows, a water container, brushes, glitter, wipes and sponge baskets. I use a tall chair and so I won't need any additional chairs unless you want to set them up for waiting guests. Deluxe faces take about 8-10 minutes each and quick faces 2-5 minutes each depending on the child & the choice of design. Although the children like watching and choosing from my many face painting options, there should be other activities planned for those not being painted as I will usually be there the entire party time.
My name is Denise Cold. I've been face painting since 2011 and have recently moved to Charlotte, NC. I've had some great art adventures: I have a Youtube channel, classes on FABAtv, I've traveled to Europe to teach in Amsterdam and Belgium and in Toronto Canada, taught many workshops across the USA and conventions (FABAIC, FPBA, Kidvention West, East Coast Convention, FP University, ACE) I've also been a guest painter on Royal Carribean's Oasis of the Seas and Symphony of the Seas. At smaller parties, I'm able to do my best work and offer a range of designs from my signature full faces to cute quick designs. I can do jungle animals, fairies, princesses, butterflies, pirates, dragons, super heroes, skulls, masquerade masks...about any theme can incorporate face painting. At corporate events I provide fabulous designs that take 3 minutes or less so that your employees or guests remember yours as THE event of the year. Face painting gets people talking and interacting together and getting to know each other better.
I've worked and trained hard to achieve the skill level I have by taking training, attending workshops all over the country and arranged workshops for some of the best instructors in the world. But mostly, I've practiced to become the very best face painter that I can be. And that doesn't mean that I'm only artistic, that also means that I'm fast, good with children, manage a line well and am a professional at what I do.

It is important that I have deep shade/shelter at any outdoor events and also for the people in line.
