Pan in Paradise brings together the acoustic sounds of steel drum with specially developed backing sequences that give a full steel band sound at an affordable price.

Hi, I'm Chuck Brooker, a lifelong musician and local resident of the Florida Keys. I have been performing steel drums for over 20 years and have been playing music professionally for over 36 years at countless events throughout the east coast of Florida and around the world. In addition to performing, I have also developed multiple steel drum programs, from Elementary School, Middle School and High School and now even adult community programs. In fact, I am the Artisic and Musical director for the Steel Drum Band of the Florida Keys, for adults in the Florida Keys! To make sure I bring a world class sound to your event, I have been working with pan builders since I started developing steel drum programs in 1998. This means when you hire me, you are not hiring just any steel drum player, but one with the knowledge and experience to take your event to the next level.

My music journey has taken me through out the Southeastern United States, Dubai, China and Saudi Arabia as a freelance musician, performing with many ensembles in private events and Embassies. In my more than 36 years as a professional musician, I have worked with many ensembles including working as trombonist with the Palm Beach Opera Orchestra, the Command Band of the United States Air Force, Walt Disney World in numerous ensembles at MGM Studios, EPCOT Center and the Magic Kingdom. These days, in addition to Steel Drums, you can find me playing bass trombone with the Paradise Big Band in Key West.
