We are so glad that we hired Joe for our 50th anniversary event! He was the life of the party, and brought the happy couple back to 1974 when they had a polka band at their backyard wedding :)

Papa Joe, made the birthday 90 year old Mamma celebration truly fun and wonderful.

We wanted an accordian player for our Oktoberfest party but what we got was so much more. Papa Joe was extraordinary. He sang, he told jokes and had our whole group clapping and singing along with him. So much fun. Should be 6 stars.

We had the best Oktoberfest last night with Papa Joe performing for our residents. He really transformed our amenity space into a proper German Biergarten with his accordion and fun interaction with the residents.

We look forward to working with him again!

Oh, where do I even begin with the incredible Papa Joe at our Tuscan Dinner Fundraiser? He was an absolute gem and an unrivaled superstar! From the moment he took the stage with his accordion, it was as if the entire atmosphere transformed into a magical and enchanting Tuscan dream.

Papa Joe's performance was simply mesmerizing. Papa Joe is diligent and prompt in communication with me from the beginning. I asked him about my favorite sing. He researched it, learned music and lyrics and then performed it at the event.

Papa Joe brought a certain level of class to our kids communion party — he was timely, performed well, and accomadeted song requests — I mean, simply the best if ur looking for live relaxing Italian classic music !

Papa Joe is the BEST!!! He provided great background music as needed as well as sang where and when needed. Definitely a must to round out your event!

Joe preformed for a cocktail hour at an Italian 50th Anniversary Party. Arrived early, set up with no problem and played the perfect combination of classic Italian songs and classic American, on the accordion. Walked up and down the space and the acoustics were amazing! It sounded like the music was coming from all directions. Many at the party loved the idea of having an accordion player, and my parents loved the surprise. Ending his set with New York New York was the icing on the cake.
Absolutely recommend Papa Joe if you're looking for a talented accordion player to entertain at your party!

Papa Joe was amazing. He performed for my dad’s retirement party and our guests and my dad especially loved it. From start to finish he was easy to work with. He communicated prior to the event. I sent him a list of songs that I thought my dad would love. He was very personable and extremely talented. A few of our guests asked for his contact information to hire him for their events. We hired Papa Joe for a "barn dance" at our summer lake community. The dance is a long-standing tradition here & we were trying to re-create the experience after losing the band we used to hire every year. We found Papa Joe for our Grandfathers 91st Birthday seeing his main focus is accordion and that’s what Pop played growing up. I have to tell you, Joe is far more than an accordion player, he’s an Entertainer through and through (as well as a great guy)! I would highly recommend Joe for you next party regardless of what it is for, hell, we’re going to have him at my kids communion this fall!! He was wonderful, and extremely reasonably priced, everyone had a ball. Take my word, you won’t regret it!

I never hired someone off Gig Salad and wow was Papa Joe an AMAZING first impression.

He is so sweet, passionate, and professional. Puts his music first and was so personal in his performance.

The entire party was asking where I got him from and complimenting his music selections and funny commentary.

Hi Joe, Just want to say what a great time we had last night at Ikea. You made it so enjoyable. I’ve always been intrigued with the accordion and watched Lawrence Welk as a child with my dad. I grew up with all kinds of music, from opera to big band. My only wish is that people would join in more and appreciate it. This was the first time I've ever hired an entertainer online and was at first very skeptical. Within just a few minutes after reviewing the GigSalad web site and posting my request, I received a very friendly phone call from Papa Joe. In just a few seconds of conversation, I felt very comfortable and knew that he was the one to hire. I was specifically looking for an accordion player that performed Italian songs and he fit the bill perfectly. He was very friendly and professional and contacted me numerous times before my event. He arrived well before my guests and set everything up. He is an excellent accordion player and a very good singer. He was the life of the party and many of my guests complemented me on his performance. I’m actually looking forward to hire Papa Joe again for our next event.

What a fabulous performer Papa Joe De Clemente is! He brought back the sweetest, happiest memories with his accordion playing Italian music for Mom and her guests! It was all the music Mom grew up with, so sentimental and upbeat. Not only did Papa Joe make the Birthday girl feel special, he also engaged everyone else including the children in his performance.
