Parties to Remember

It was a great event . The entertainer sang songs and there were stort telling too. The kids really liked it and involved in the fun activity.

Jon interacted great with the young children of various ages.

Jon did a great job engaging the preschoolers and holding their attention with age appropriate songs and material.

Jon and his band gave us a night to remember. We had a square Dance party for my daughter’s graduation from high school. We had a mixed age group from young teens to adults and older and everyone participated. Jon made our evening fun and provided clear instructions on the dance moves required. Everyone had a blast. The dances were fun and the music was amazing. I highly recommend Jon and his band. We will certainly be booking again in the future.

Jon and his wife did a wonderful job entertaining the kids! He had a variety of balloon animals/shapes you can choose from and captivated the kids with his skills. We would definitely hire them again!

We hired Jon and his wife Vivian for a community event in Harmony, NC that was funded by donations from local businesses. Jon and Vivian were balloon twisters for our event and put big smiles on the faces of every child I saw go through their line. We were blown away with the amount of people we had from the Harmony community and surrounding areas that ended up showing up for the Halloween event, but we were glad to see we had so much participation. We would recommend "Parties to Remember" for any event where you would like to have balloon twisters. Jon and Vivian were so friendly and did a wonderful job entertaining the kids and families that came through! Keep up the great work and maybe we will get a chance to work with you guys again in the future.

What a fun party for our 4 year old! The older siblings enjoyed it too. Stories, music, dance, balloon figures were all included. Fun for children and adults.

The students enjoyed the musical instruments, songs, stories and balloon animals. They also learned about kindness and mindfulness. The students were engaged and actively participating with the storyteller. Overall positive experience for our students.

Last weekend we had Jon Sundell of Parties to Remember as the entertainment at our daughter's 6th birthday party. The kids were so intrigued with the storytelling. It was amazing how quiet the kids were while listening to and interacting with the stories. Afterwards, Jon and his wife made balloon animals for the kids. Four days later, they are still playing with them! I am so glad we found Jon on Gigsalad and would definitely recommend!

We hired Jon for balloon twisting for a community event at our new local park. Jon and his wife did an excellent job. We had around 50 kids attend and all were excited about their balloons. Loved that Jon had on display what he could make (my personal favorite the monkey), which made the kids' choices much easier. Jon and Vivian were so friendly and did a wonderful job!

John did an excellent job engaging the group of children. The songs performance not only engaged the children, but also encouraged participation including the children playing instruments.

Jon exceeded my expectations yesterday in providing my friends with an outdoor performance of country music and stories from their front lawn.

The intimate outdoor venue was perfect for the 10+ guests to maintain safe distances whilst enjoying the music, stories, and respond to his requests for participation. Jon came with two banjos, a dulcimer and an autoharp with which he entertained the guests of honor with old time music, including songs from the Grand Old Opry. The celebration of the 60th wedding anniversary was enjoyed by the 'almost newly-weds', friends, family and neighbors.

I admit that I was uncertain if Jon would be able to entertain folks in their mid-80s and 90s, and the answer is a resounding yes. He was a good communicator prior to the event and responsive to the needs of the guests. I highly recommend his services.

Jon performed virtual concerts for our library on 12/15 and 12/16, each concert geared towards children in different age groups, 2nd grade and under, and 3rd to 6th graders. There was a combination of storytelling and singing, and the students in each group enjoyed the event and we had very positive feedback from their parents and teachers! We held the event over Zoom and everyone was encouraged to have their cameras on so could we have as much interaction as possible. There were times Jon wanted the audience to emulate his motions during the songs, he called on different audience members to answer his questions and to get suggestions, and we were even able to sing along (muted of course because it would have been chaotic online). Jon handles and captivates on online crowd very well! He knows what he's doing.

Jon was fantastic. He told us fun stories and songs around our campfire to celebrate my daughter's 8th birthday. He tailored the stories to our experiences living on a tree farm and apple orchard. The kids loved it and so did the adults. We had fun listening and dancing. Jon was professional and observant of social distancing and mask wearing during the current pandemic. We felt very safe and it didn't stop the fun one bit! Hire parties to remember for a magical time.

I really enjoyed this experience with Jon and Vivian. The children at my son's party and our child care center really had a great time. I believe the adults and teachers loved it more. The stories where good and kept the children's attention. The songs were catching and we sang them for days after the party was over. Thank you for your professionalism and interest in children of all ages.

Jon came to my sons 1st birthday and shared his wonderful stories, songs and balloon twisting talent with us. The children’s ages ranged from infant to about 7 and everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly. I would definitely consider hiring Jon again and would highly recommend him.

They’re awesome. Stories and balloon twisting really made the party and kept kids entertained. They were a great addition to our event and we look forward to the opportunity to hire them again in the future.

Our preschoolers loved this program! The songs were silly and engaging and the stories held their attention. We had some senior citizen friends at the program too, and it was wonderful to see them singing along to some old familiar tunes! The children each got to pick their own balloon animal to take home at the end of the show! They all went home smiling!

All went well. She made balloonn animals and kids were happy.
