I loved working with the Party People Rentals. They were very helpful and bent over backwards to make sure we were happy. I will be using them again. The girl that came out with the Ninja Turtle was very good at her job. She kept the children engaged in the music and they really had a great time. We also used the petting zoo. The children loved it and the people with the petting zoo were very warm and friendly.

OMG Party People was amazing!. We ordered a bounce house and Minnie Mouse for my daughters birthday party. They were prompt and very on time I must say (I think 15 minutes early) and the kids were having so much fun the young ladies who hosted the party even say they were will to stay another 15 to 20 minutes. The highlight was when Minnie was leaving, one of the kids had a fit because she wanted her to stay. My daughter turned 1 during this time and she seemed to enjoyed it. I would DEFINITELY hire Party People again. The whole process was smooth.

They were late! Minnie mouse was out dated her ears were lopsided, dress was faded. She also wasnt able to move on her own she needed assistance moving around like she was blind or something one of her eyes were coming off and she wasn't interactive with my daughters guest for her party as i expected. The music played for 5 min within the hour she was there. the stars are solely for the host she did everything to keep the apperance running smoothly but my guest and i were very disappointed

The Holy Light Church Harvest Festival for 2015 was a blast! Party People, you did it again! The combo bounce house, face painting, and the Frozen characters were wonderful! We used this company before last year for Kaiden's 1st birthday and they were awesome so it was a no brainer that we would use them again. Very professional and kid friendly. Had a true blast with Bob the minion. The kids made little arts and craft bags and we're able to keep those as a little keepsake from the party. The adults and kids joined in for some limbo and dance time fun. Party People Rentals truly made my son's second birthday special. Thanks for so much fun.

I am so thankful for this company. My first reservation cancelled on me, and these wonderful people were able to fit me in to their schedule and make it work! My daughter turned 2. I wasn't sure if she would be afraid or even interact, but she loved Miss Mouse. The wonderful lady who escorted the Mouse took care of everything and was very sweet and polite. I will be using this company again and again as will our friends and family who were so impressed! Thank you for making this a special day for our family.

Party people are the gold standard in event set-up and hosting! They took the stress out of planning an amazing event and were extremely helpful in communication with the venue and negotiation of contracts. They were quick and efficient at setting the event up and packing up the event, as well as professional and curteous in dealing with our guests as well as the venue staff. For my little girl's fifth birthday, she decided to do a mermaid themed birthday party. We saw Ariel online, so we booked her. I couldn't imagine her being any better! She was amazing!!! She came in the party and stole the show!!!! All of the little girls ran to her, taking her all over the house, showing her everything! She then sat down and read a story, which they all loved! Afterwards, the coronation ceremony happened and all of them got little treats. Then came the signing... She had the most beautiful voice!!! That was really the best part, when all of the girls were signing along, the mothers had tears in their eyes! She then sang happy birthday to my little girl and she departed. She really was absolutely amazing and I would highly suggest having Ariel at your little girls birthday party!!!!

It was an absolute delight to work with Kelly and her team. From the planning stages to the day of the birthday party, they made it such a breeze.! They were punctual, the characters and the balloon twister were very engaged with the guests at all times, and they truly were a huge part of the party's success.! I have never hired a company for a character for any of my kid's birthdays before so I was nervous with what I would get and for the price, however, after my youngest's party yesterday it was worth every penny! Buzz and his assistant were kind, professional, and fun. They did a wonderful job getting kids of all ages invlolved by dancing and singing, took pictures, (Buzz's assistant took pictures for us which was wonderful!) and helped us sing happy birthday and blow out my son's candles. I will be using them in the future!

I hired Party People to deliver flowers to my girlfriend in a minion costume for Valentines. It was a great experience and she loved it. Kelly was very nice and so was the gentleman in the costume. If I ever have the need for their services again ill be sure to give them a call.

We used party people for our baby shower for a balloon arch and balloon centerpieces. The balloon artist was amazing, very accommodating, and well prepared. The centerpieces looked exactly like the picture we provided her and she was able to assemble the arch to fit the space we were using perfectly. I have already start recommending party people for this lovely service. Party people does it again!

I used them for my daughters 2nd birthday they were on time and very entertaining for the kids they loved the Elmo character, balloon twister and face painter. I cant wait to use them for my next party.

We contracted for a Dora character. My granddaughter could not have been happier, we danced, sang songs, took pictures. The price was very reasonable, the character showed up on time was very engaging with all the little people, even the adults had fun. I can say with all honesty we will be using your services next year.

10/19/2014, I celebrated my son's 3rd birthday with a Mickey Mouse Road Rally theme. I wanted so bad for Mickey to come, but I was well aware on Saturday I had far exceeded my $300 party budget. While at another child's party the day before (Saturday), I had the pleasure of seeing live a Barney Party for a 1 yr old. I was so impressed with the show, in fact I believe I was one of many adults who enjoyed hearing childhood favorites. After the party, I couldn't resist the urge to ask if the party people had availability for the next day so my son could experience the magic of Mickey! To my surprise, the party people was available and booked me immediately. Kelly (the owner), was professional, courtesy and attentive to my needs. She explained to me in great detail what she would offer by way of songs and entertainment and what time I could expect them. She provided contact information, business calls and sealed my confidence in her brand by telling me just how much she enjoys doing what she does. Sunday would arrive and just as she said, she called to advise she was en route, she was accommodating and willing to allow my son and his friends extra time to finish their meal before starting the entertainment. Mickey and the party people did an EXTRAORDINARY job entertaining the children with childhood favorites like the "hokie-pokie", if you're happy and you know it", the mickey mouse clubhouse song amongst others. They sang happy birthday, clapped, danced and displayed great energy. I really loved how they encouraged photos, grabbed cameras to capture the moments of friends and family recognized and acknowledged my son by name and beamed with enthusiasm the ENTIRE show. There is not a thing I would change about my son's 3rd birthday celebration. I have watched videos throughout the entire week over and over again and I can only think of one word repeatedly......MAGICAL!

I would not change a thing.....

p.s. the next day I asked my son, (who just turned 3), "what was your favorite part of your birthday party?" He screamed and said, "MICKEY MOUSE"!!!! It was at the point my heart was overjoyed and I knew then, it was money well spent!!!!

Owner accopanied Barney to my party. She arrived earlier than expected to set up and brought everything she needed. She and Barney were the life of my party. We were to attend one of my child's friends parties the very next day. The mother ended up reserving a character from Party People because she loved how they interacted at my party. The party was the next day on a Sunday and Party People were able to accomodate her. They are great and very professional to work with. I am definitely going to use them again.

All I can say is wow! I booked Party People Rentals for my wedding that I was planning in less than six weeks and not only were they able to provide me with beautiful rental supplies amd decorations, their service and attention to detail was amazing, beyond that their prices were the most reasonable I found. Not only were my husband I impressed, but our family and special guests were so wowed by their professionalism and service. I recommend party people tp anyone who has event planning needs.

You guys were fabulous, timely, and very organized (as well as very good looking)! I would have liked to know in advance that the face-painter needed a table, so we would have had that ready for her.

In addition, I tried to make my payment when the character first arrived while I was not as busy, but was not able to.

I received 4 phone calls and an email during my sons party trying to contact me for payment . I rarely had my phone on me and was certainly not checking email during the party. I was soooo busy hosting during the party that I found it quite annoying that I was being contacted during the party to pay. I would have liked to pay at the beginning as I requested.

I will highly recommend Party People in the future.

I always use this company for all of my events. I work with my church as a youth coordinator as well as with my job planning events for students. Kelli is always friendly and is always willing to give you the best situation for your event. Unlike other places, they do not try to haggle you. They are on time and in most cases VERY early. There is nothing for you to ever clean up, they take care of all of that. Party People is truly a one stop shop. The prices are great, and they are always able to adapt to any and all changes that you might have to make due to weather and or if you simply change your mind. They are a lifesaver.

We hosted a community day at our church and contracted Party People Rentals to provide ponies, an inflatable bounce house, and a snow cone machine. The service provided was impeccable and the guests enjoyed every minute of the fun! They were on time for setup, courteous, and very inviting to our guests. We will use them again in the future.

I can't begin to say how great my experience with this company has been. The bounce house was awesome and everyone enjoyed it tremendously. They really worked hard to find someone to fill the Bat Guy request. They were timely. The handler was organized and adaptable. The character interacted nicely. We didn't know the character would not be speaking. And the costume was different than I expected, I should of gotten a picture first.

I hired Party People Rentals for a joint 2 year old Dr. Seuss party. We had the Cat and the Hat and a face painter. The Party people were very kind, and encouraged everyone to participate. They were very understanding my child refused to participate. Even with uncooperative children we still had a great time and I got great photos. The face painter did an excellent job with all of the children. She was kind and patient and did a very detailed job. I would hire this company again in the future.

My 1 year old son loved Elmo, the dancing and activities were great! All the kids enjoyed the atmosphere and the face painter as well!

I used this company this pass Saturday and they were so awesome. The enter action with the kid was so great and professional. I couldn't have had it any other way. They were on time and ready to go. The characters interact with my guests, the painting artist painted different characters on every child face, snow cone were delicious with different favors, and cotton was a hit. Doc McStuffin was truly a special treat for our guest. she was able to get the kids going, once out of the heat (lol). The birthday girl enjoyed her presence and the bubbles she brought with her. For the first time my son who is usually scared of characters was able to pose for pictures and feel welcomed as she looked like a big dress up play doll. I recommend for any kids party

I recently hired them to paint faces and bring the mascots spongebob, patrick and dora to a picnic in the Norfolk ZOO for about 2000 people, I couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome. The facepainters were so dedicated, that they stayed overtime to be sure they finished every child in the line. I was very impressed with the dedication professionalism and realistic charater quality. AND THE PRICE! Was the best around, and trust me I did my homework.. Party People Rentals is the only name you need for facepainting and mascots! I would hire them again, and refer them to anyone who has a need for these two services!

The blue ninja turtle came out for my sons birthday IT WAS AWESOME. He can't stop talking about it. The staff was friendly. They were on time. And very adaptable despite the weather. Thank you all so much for making his cowabunga bash way cool.

What an amazing experience our company had with Party People Rentals! Our Luau would not have turned out as fun and amazing without the bounce house and face painters. The attendant for the bounce house (Lafayette) was absolutely wonderful and friendly! The face painters were great and creative artist too! We look forward to working with Party People Rentals in the future.

Party people provided a wonderful experience for my daughter's 5th birthday party. The face painting was quality, the moon bounce came on time and the kids loved it. In addition, the hello kitty we rented was very entertaining and looked great. My daughter was very very happy and we were very pleased with the experience.

A Party People Balloon Twister came out to work a preschool event. She did an excellent job. She had plenty of supplies. She made whatever the children wanted. Even when balloons popped she happily made them a second balloon. She did not rest at all during the 2 hours she was there and was always smiling.

I booked a Pony/ Petting Zoo party for my 8 year old. The Booking of the event was Stress FREE! She accommodated my every need. When they arrived; he set up swiftly with smiles. He was so patient with the children getting on and off. Laughed and made jokes with the kids, parents and the ponies. It was such a great experience. After it was over he scooped the poop and left. The following day; I recieved a call to make sure I was pleased. You dont get this type of experience with all events. I will tell a friend about Party People! GREAT GREAT GREAT!

I book this company for my daughter's birthday party and I gave them a deposit on a character a couple of day later I get a e-mail they don't have that character available ! So they refunded my deposit that was fine. The next week they call and say they have another character that great I though so I gave them another deposit. The night before my child's party I get another e-mail saying sorry but no character. I'm so feed up with this company. I will never use this company ever again.

The experience with Party People was wonderful from the time I called to place an order until the time the character left my home. I ordered a Minnie Mouse for a 2 year old's birthday party. Minnie's costume was beautiful. She was enegetic and very good with the kids. She came with another person from Party People who took care of the music and told us the songs we were going to sing and the games we were going to play. There was plenty of time for pictures. Everyone was a professional! I highly recommend Party People.

We contracted to have Buzz LightYear attend our son's third birthday party in a home setting with approximately 40 guests. From ages 2 to 7 for kids and adults, everyone was thoroughly entertained with the songs, dancing, and entertaining. Kelli, the organizer, was great to work with and very responsive. I highly recommend you shop no further in planning your next character entertainment. I did the leg work and am grateful I landed with them. You won't be disappointed.

I am one of the Youth Coordinators at the Holy Light Church, Portsmouth, VA. We have rented several items from Party People Rentals in 2011 such as the bubble machine and several inflatable games. What a hit it was for the children and adults! At our Harvest Festival last year, we rented the bounce house, cotton candy and two characters: Hello Kitty & Woody (Toy Story). The children didn't know about this and what a surprise it was! All the adults were just as excited too. They played games with them and photos with the characters were taken. The Party People Rentals are quality items and the staff are so professional and work with children very well. We are looking forward to having Party People Rentals again this year.
