Hello Sir/Ma’am,

I represent a brand new exciting and unique company called Party Safe. Our team of professionals is looking for an event just like your festival to promote our services. We are a unique service vendor that is a bit different from your traditional vendors selling food, beer or merchandise products. We are a special event alcohol breath testing company that has been in business for over 3 years. To date, we have worked with over 100 events and have had a great response from everyone involved. We have also started working with several beer tours such as the Great American Craft Beer Tour, Rhizome Productions and Beer, Bourbon and BBQ Tour. Our service is both entertaining and informative for the customer and more importantly a priceless liability buffer for your event. Our services are anonymous, voluntary and accurate as we use the same PBT machines that law enforcement would use. Under our basic setup, we offer our services to the customer for a small fee of $2.00 a test. What makes us unique is that we are the only L.L.C. and insured special event alcohol testing company in the country that is doing this service for beer, wine and food festivals. We are now adding new events to our schedule and would love to add your event to the list. We can easily handle events from 100 to 100,000 people people per day and we are ready to work with yours!

As you know with an event like yours, the media attention can make or break your future success. All it takes is one tragic car crash or a few DUI arrests and the media will have a feeding frenzy. This type of tragedy can also expose an organization like yours to tremendous ridicule, liability and potential for future event termination. I’m a retired Michigan police officer and I can tell you first hand that the cost for a DUI arrest can be well over $5,000. The cost of a major incident to an event organization can be crippling (lawsuits in the millions) when patrons get arrested for DUI or more severe charges.

We at Party Safe know that you can not control your customer’s decision to drive or not to drive. Unfortunately, there is no way for a person to gauge their blood alcohol content until after they are driving and have police contact or much worse, after they have been involved in a crash. Some events like to use local law enforcement to fill the role of alcohol testing but this can cause the event to take on undue inherent responsibility for every intoxicated patron and the need to act on everyone that is over the legal limit.

What we offer is a low cost proactive testing solution for your event and more importantly to your customers. Our service allows your customers to make an informed decision about their blood alcohol content, prior to driving, prior to crashing and prior to having contact with the police! Some festival organizers have been concerned that by having our services it will detract from customers having fun at the event but I want to reassure you that we keep our services voluntary and fun for the customer. We don’t consider ourselves as being a “downer” to any event.

So what are we looking for? We are looking for non-prime event space near the entrance/exits, not necessarily in the heart of the event! We would need to get detailed information about the event such as demographics and attendance figures so that we can gauge manpower needed to cover your event.

This is how it works;

Our Party Safe team sets up a small tent and table inside your venue, preferably near the exit, our staff are equipped with law enforcement quality breath testers. Each test takes just a few seconds and allows your customers to better gauge their blood alcohol level as they make that decision to drive or not to drive from your event. Additionally, we make available to each test recipient a list of contact numbers for local taxi, safe driving services or other local vendors. Our presence at the event is scaled based on attendance and we can run with a 10x10 space or up to multiple 10x20 spaces to cover the needs of the customers. \

In regards to the cost for our service, the service fees are listed on the additional attachment. These fees are a small price to pay for the value of what we offer to the event and customers. We also have several options for events to include flat rate contracts, sponsorships and event revenue generation options. Some events have included our fees ($2.00 a test) into the cost of admission allowing all customers to test for free and for the event to make additional income! A majority of festivals opt for having us attend the festival for the first year and once they realize the value and opportunity we offer, the festivals almost always expand the relationship for future events.
