Passionato Winds

Upon hiring me, I will take notes of your needs and wants for your event, stay organized with timing and preparations, and be open to any suggestions for music. I will see the venue before the performance to prepare where to stand/sit, and ensure the venue has anything I may need for the performance.

I have over 30+ years performing in various venues and styles on flute and piccolo, and have taught private lessons for over 20+ years. Experiences have included being a solo piccoloist for the University of Louisville to perform the Liebermann piccolo concerto, solo flutist for the Ambler Symphony in Pennsylvania, and performed in several music institutes and masterclasses (Lake Placid, Northwestern University piccolo institute, National Wind Ensemble, studies with James Galway and Jimmy Walker, et al). I managed a woodwind ensemble, Passionato Winds, to perform gigs for several years in Cincinnati, Ohio.

I am currently the principal flutist for the NOVA Symphony Orchestra in Alexandria, Virginia, an ensemble I have performed with for the past 6 years. I have a Bachelors in Music and Music Education from the University of Louisville in Kentucky, and a Masters from University of Pennsylvania.
