One Guy and his guitar and computer band! I have over 300 original songs and 90 cover songs to cater to almost any occasion.
I have a show for seniors. I have a show for children. And I can play any venue for adults. My lyrics inspire, encourage and entertain in a fun way. Being flexible comes in handy when you don't know who the audience may be...

One Man One Guitar with songs that will inspire and uplift. I have played for audiences as big as 1 and even bigger at 10,000 but not as often hehehe. For small events I bring a small amp system. For larger events I can bring a band in my computer. I play Cover songs from the 50s to 2019 and I have great original songs for every occasion.
Pat Canavan has a passion for creating memorable melodies. He is a natural singer songwriter and performer who has fronted Canadian Rock bands U4EA, Here, The Tundra and 600. Pat is a gifted singer-songwriter, a self-taught multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar, bass, keyboards, orchestral percussion and ukulele. He also holds a degree in Recording Engineering and is a practitioner of Acoustic Therapy, the study of how frequencies impact the body’s electric and electromagnetic energy systems. (It’s really cool!) With this technology, Pat became one of the first “Indie artists” signed to iTunes with his BabySoundAsleep program. Aside from offering popular styled music, Pat believes that it is important to stay innovative and maintain diversified revenue streams. Plus, helping babies never goes out of fashion.
With COTA, a Toronto-based community mental health service organization, Pat started a music outreach program in 2018 called MIC (Music in Community) in a Toronto Community Housing Building in Regent Park. MIC helps people with mental health issues and cognitive health challenges play music. We even created a band and set up performance opportunities to local area events and Missions. It’s music by the people for the people. Pat is also mentoring students in song-writing at the Durham College Music Business Program at the request of the students.
In his 30-year professional career, Pat has:
• Written more than 300 songs
• Produced 17 albums and 12 singles. Most albums are now available in 150 top digital streaming and sale spaces
• Scored music for two award-winning Canadian short films
• Written music for radio, TV and film commercials
• Written songs for top Canadian corporations like Canadian Tire and charities like Variety Village and Jumpstart
• Produced & directed over 200 Videos for various corporate clients like Canadian Tire
• Had 2 top 20 Hits with the band U4EA, with “Mystery” in the top 100 of 1990
• Is currently mentoring students in song-writing at Durham College Music Business Program at the request of the students
• Produces and Hosts the popular YouTube Show PatCanMusicChan https://www.youtube.com/PatCanavan
• In September 2018 released the 25th anniversary edition of “Isumataq” with 6 additional never released songs. Co-written with Gary Lalonde (Honeymoon Suite), Isumataq explores Inuit folklore and mythology, the environment and broader Canadian aboriginal issues. It is part of a massive art and music initiative created in collaboration with painter Ken Kirkby, whose 152 foot by 12 foot oil-on-canvas painting Isumataq was unveiled in the House of Commons in 1992 with each party leader present. It then toured through 1992 and 1993 in Toronto, Ottawa and New York City.
