We held a joint event with one of our clients and had Pat Mason & Bayou Boogie provide the entertainment. It was a blast! If we had to do it all over again, we would definitely have them back!

We hired Pat Mason & Bayou Boogie for our wedding reception in Shreveport and they were PERFECT! We gave the band creative freedom to play whatever they wanted, with a request for traditional Zydeco music, as we had family coming in from out of state and wanted them to get a little flavor for the culture. They played an amazing line-up of songs that got everyone moving, but they also read the guests really well and obliged with a slow song when we needed to catch our breaths! We got SO many compliments on how amazing these guys were, across generations (from age 6 to age 98!) I also was so amazed with the band's flexibility and patience; our catering ran an hour late, and I was super worried we wouldn't get any dance time by the time we were ready, but we actually had to tell them to leave when the venue was closing, and they joked they had another set for us - they really went above and beyond. We would recommend this band to anyone wanting to have a good time!

I'm a professional event planner and hire bands all the time for all over the U.S. I look for a unique style that is a cut above the usual cover band, as well as a sound that will fit the theme of my events or the culture of the city. These guys fit the bill at my most recent reception! They just pulled the party theme totally together and my guests were asking where I found them! Band members all look like they are having a great time on stage, too. Music is a combo of old faves with a unique Zydeco twist to them, plus some original tunes. I highly recommend them.
