Paul Chamlin

Paul was the absolutely ideal accompanist for our little group of seven amateur singers, as we were rehearsing, and then performing, a 40 minute, original, musical comedy review for an audience of 600 at a national conference.

Beyond his gifts as a pianist, Paul is clearly a gifted vocal coach, as was apparent from our first rehearsal. He easily transposed keys to fit each singer's voice and range, provided all our singers with useful feedback and tips, and built their confidence by recognizing their abilities and noting their progress at various points. His patience and humor helped keep the tone of the rehearsals light and positive, while the work was still professionally focused. During the performance itself, his skills as a pianist and his ability to improvise and adapt were essential elements in the show's success.

Paul's contributions to our show were invaluable. All of us who worked with him this week would recommend him highly to anyone looking for a piano accompanist, and especially to anyone planning an onstage musical performance.

Paul Chamlin is a superb pianist and thorough professional. He arrived early, dressed impeccably in tuxedo and played beautifully a mix of holiday songs and American standards discreetly in the background. Paul is personable as well.

We retained the services of Paul Chamlin to entertain my guests at our holiday Christmas party at my home. Paul is an accomplished pianist. I received lots of compliments from my guests on his 3 hour afternoon gig with us. Beyond being a talented pianist he has a warm and friendly demeanor. I would certainly hire Paul in the future. While Paul also is a singer, for this particular event only his piano skills were required.

My party was totally delightful because Paul was there playing the piano. He accompanied singers as well as playing solo and it was just terrific. He couldn't be nicer and his professionalism is glowing. He looked great in a crisp tuxedo that was an added touch.
