Paula Maya Band arrived on time for set up and were ready to play when our event started. Their selections were excellent. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their music. We were able to have conversations, but also many guests sat right in front of them to enjoy their music. They were gracious and lovely to chat with. Also, communication beforehand was very easy via the Gig Salad platform. They created a wonderful ambiance for our company's 15th anniversary party. I would definitely ask them to play at a future event. Thank you so much!

Paula and her band did an exceptional job at our wedding! She provided a flute and acoustic guitar duo for the ceremony music and a jazz quartet for the cocktail hour. The ceremony musicians learned the songs that we requested and made the ceremony especially beautiful and unique. Paula's quartet also played bossa nova classics during the outdoor cocktail hour and created a lovely jazzy and tropical atmosphere at our summer evening wedding. It was exactly what we were looking for! Paula is very professional and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend her band for a wedding or any event!

Not only is Paula an incredibly talented pianist, she was a joy to work with! She was professional through and through. She put me at ease about my concerns about having live music at a residential birthday party because she is very experienced and knows how these things go - they go amazingly well with Paula at the keys! And in the context of my party, it was like a dream to have her rather than music over speakers because the tone of having a real musician on a piano gave the sound of the room beautiful dimension and therefore, the tone of the party felt like a very comfortable space for our guests. The sound of my typical sound system (just sonos) has a bit of a deafening effect on the party because all the sounds were sort of normalized so it hd the effect of white noise. But when Paula got on, the whole party came alive. The bright tone of Paula’s musical style gave the guests a beautiful treat to listen to when pausing in conversation and actually augmented our ability to hold lovely conversation and have good laughs. The mood of all my guests was at 100% and I think Paula was one of the big contributors to that. My guests went in for days about how it was such a nice touch.

More about Paula and why you should definitely hire her for your next event - Her repertoire is HUGE! She can play any style and she is an expert on the keys. I highly recommend consulting with her and searching the titles within her repertoire for ideas for your event. I discovered some new artists who I’m now listening to all the time, because I like them so much. She offered to learn any songs I wanted, which sounded very appealing to me until I listened to the songs in her repertoire and found that the songs she already knew were cooler than any of my ideas. Her repertoire really is just that good. I picked out like, Maybe 69 songs just from her American repertoire that I loved and we only needed about 30 for the 3-hours of playtime. So the fantastic songs she already knew were more than enough for me.

She sings REALLY well, she can improvise, she knows how to put on a show, and be part of a show. She is a talented performer in all respects. We had this coordinated thing we tried to do with lighting the candles on my husband’s 40th birthday cake and this little show with an aerialist, and Paula playing and singing happy birthday - it could have been really tricky to time it all perfectly but Paula just saved the day on the whole thing because this isn’t her first rodeo - she knew just what to do to make blowing out the candles on my husband’s 40th birthday cake the perfect moment. It was truly just beautiful thanks to Paula. She made that moment and the entire party so incredibly special and memorable. I can’t believe we were so fortunate to have such incredible talent as Paula.

She was so kind and communicative but before during and after the party. She was thankfully able to work with some mixups I made with scheduling and she was just professional the whole way through. She made sure to come and introduce herself when she arrived at the party. She conducted her job at the party perfectly, as far as starting on time and everything like that, and she played beautifully. I was very impressed with her professionalism.

Up capturing a good deal of video of Paula because she really was just stunning on the keys. Hugely impressive and my guests are still reaching out to me to tell me how much fun they have and how Paula was just such a great addition to the whole event. They loved her, we loved her, Imwouod absolutely recommend Paula any day. If you need a pianist and Paula is available - I’m telling you book now, because you will never find a pianist like her. She is the real deal!!
