Paulina in short was exceptional. This was not only my first time using gig salad, but also having a pianist in the comfort of my home. Paulina gracefully played throughout our Christmas Eve holiday mixing in holiday favorites along with requests from our guests. She played above and beyond our expectations and I would, without hesitation, recommend Paulina for any event that you may be thinking about having a pianist. She was extremely professional/personable and was an amazing addition to our party!

Paulina was the perfect fit for our Christmas house party. She started with classical pieces and a few jazz standards as the party got warmed up. Then came the Christmas favorites new and old (even “All I Want for Christmas is you” which was a big crowd pleaser). She brought sheet music with lyrics - enough for many guests to read from which I hadn’t asked for but was certainly delighted she thought of it. There was a French song I wanted my cousin to sing and Paulina ordered the score and within 2 days had it mastered for the party. The both of them nailed it!

With Paulina you can expect beautiful playing, a fun spirit, flexibility to your needs, and a no b.s. professional etiquette. If you need a top notch pianist that can play technical pieces but can also be an adaptable and fun entertainer who can read a crowd, hire Paulina.

Paulina Simkin is quite possibly the best pianist you can get on here! To have a Juilliard-trained pianist perform at your event is a luxury to begin with. Musical talent of such high caliber elevates any event to a whole other level. Paulina is so humble and nice at the same time though that she makes you quickly forget you are dealing with a word-class pianist and instead she makes you feel like your event is more important than her performances at Carnegie Hall. Upon my request she performed classics by Billy Joel, the Beatles, Frank Sinatra and piano arrangements of some modern hits at my dinner party and was a big hit herself. My guests loved her and the beautiful tone she set for our evening - pun intended. I highly recommend her and would book her again anytime!

Ms. Simkin has been our piano woman since Christmas 2018. As a musical angel from New York, she has been enchanting the guests of our Christmas Party every year. She played classical music and classics from the world of waltzes in a personable, professional and amiable manner. Of course there were also classic Christmas carols to sing along with. With her performance she made a significant contribution to the success of this event.
Last year she gave our guests a virtual piano concert. A highly varied program, where she combined the old and the new, the modern and the classic, the familiar with the unfamiliar in a unique artistic way - our guests were enthusiastic, and so were we! We cannot wait to welcome her in person again this year!

Paulina came to play at our corporate event and saved the day with her lush renditions of classical pieces. She charmed us with a short, final set of French chansons. She was a hit—definitely will hire her again.

I hired Paulina for a corporate event at my company. Usually we have a band for our events but decided to go with a pianist instead this time. We couldn’t be happier about that decision. She communicated with me beforehand what type of music we were looking for and prepared plenty of options. It was such a joy watching and listening to her play! What I loved the most is how she tuned into the crowd and chose which songs to play next accordingly. It was almost as if she was a classical DJ! Paulina played a crucial role in setting the mood of the event and creating a fun and intimate feel to it despite the large amount of people. I had many colleagues compliment me on my choice of talent for the night. Would definitely book her again!

Paulina and Jacob did a wonderful job providing the music for our engagement party! They had such cool arrangements of Beatles songs, French music, classical pieces, and popular music. They honored all of our special requests and helped make it a memorable night!
