Peter was tasked with completely overhauling our church sanctuary sound and building out a new podcasting recording studio. His attention to detail and professionalism to communicate with me the entire process was spot on. He took the time to explain the what and why behind his work, and help to educate me on the process. He was unwilling to leave me feeling helpless! The sound quality is amazing, and I couldn't be more pleased. I will be using him for any and all of my audio/video needs in the future.
Response from PC Productions:
Trent! You’re the best, brother. Happy to help. I’m very grateful for the generously kind review. Keep in touch!
Working with Peter was wonderful from our very first conversation. He responded quickly and knowledgeably to my questions. Peter was the first to arrive to prepare the venue. He anticipated and was able to avert difficulty. He was professional in demeanor and dress, and brought a calm reassuring presence to our event, handling changes in program sequence seamlessly. I would recommend Peter without reservation.
Response from PC Productions:
Thanks so much, Nikki! I appreciate the kind feedback, and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your event. I look forward to next time!

I offer exceptional, experienced audio engineering services as a front-of-house engineer (A1), monitoring engineer, recording engineer, or broadcast engineer. Hi! I'm Peter Councell of PC Productions. I am an experienced live sound engineer, recording engineer, composer, and multi instrumentalist. Since 2002, I have worked as a session musician for various live productions and have been featured on many singles and full-length records. I have also worked as a freelance recording and live sound engineer for recording studios, houses of worship, and event centers in Western North Carolina. I began teaching higher education studies in contemporary drumming at Montreat College in Montreat, NC in 2011. I started my own successful social marketing agency in 2013, and continue to work as an in-demand audio engineer, music professional, and adjunct professor.
Since 2015, I served as Chief Audio Engineer at LifeWay's Ridgecrest Conference Center in Ridgecrest, NC. I won a number of awards for my work as chief audio engineer in improving many pre-existing audio systems and updating campus-wide audio networks. I also composed the first ever awards ceremony theme music for LifeWay's Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference in 2019.
I continue to compose and release original music for film, TV, gaming, and other forms of creative content. My works are most notable for blending together certain kinds of unique instrumentation and sound textures.
I DO NOT provide my own PA or virtual equipment package (at this time). An approved rental or backline company (which I am more than happy to line up for your event) or the venue or event space must provide the appropriate PA or virtual equipment needed for your event or production.
Upon hiring me for your event or production, you as the client agree to provide a complete input/mix list, stage plot (if applicable), and any/all event coordination notes at least TWO WEEKS in advance of your event or production date(s). The 50% deposit holds the event or production date(s). Service fees include per diem rates as a courtesy to clients.
Music composition fees vary based upon the type of film, TV, gaming, or other creative content work. A 50% deposit is required to begin work underscoring your creative content.
