Our signature program, “Things That Matter . . . . Songs & Stories of Faith, Family, Friendships” invites the audience to a relaxing time of reminiscing and inspiration. Songs are mostly covers from many genres of the '60s thru '90s. Stories behind the song may reflect the inspiration of the composer and/or artist. Or there might be some very unusual event or circumstance regarding the artist or composer. Or there might be some compelling message delivered by the song.
Our “Memory Lane Melodies” program is because sometimes you just want some live music behind your social event.
We can also provide Christian songs/programming for faith-based or worship events.

After more than a year in creation, Peace of Mind Band was launched on May 14th, 2017 with a new idea for a different kind of entertainment platform utilizing some of today's technology and information systems.
Our signature program, “Things That Matter . . . . Songs and Stories of Faith, Family, Friendships” invites the audience to a relaxing time of reminiscing and inspiration. Songs are typically covers from pop, rock, soul, jazz, country, americanna genres of the 1960's to 2010. Stories behind the song may reflect the inspiration of the composer and/or artist. Or there might be some very unusual event or circumstance regarding the artist or composer. Or there might be some compelling message delivered by the song. This program has been presented to audiences: at retirement and 'over 55' communities; as entertainment following a banquet; as the main program followed by time of socializing and refreshments. We choose program material from our library to suit the type of event.
Our “Memory Lane Melodies” program is because sometimes you just want some live music behind your social event.
We can also provide Christian songs/programming for faith-based or worship events. Our 20+ years as volunteer musicians, vocalists, and worship leaders in the church has equipped us to be able to offer this type of programming as well.

CLAIR E GREINER – GUITAR & VOCALS
In the early 70’s, Clair began playing guitar with a contemporary Christian band performing almost every weekend somewhere in the NE or Midwest US and then working a full-time job during the week.
After a couple years, he parked the guitar and pursued a ‘normal’ life raising a family. Then, in 1997, he dug his guitars out of the closet to help start a contemporary band at his church. He continues to play in the band for MorningPsalm Contemporary Worship at Lancaster Church of the Brethren.
MYRL E GREINER – KEYS & BACK-UP VOCALS
Myrl first started playing Bass Guitar and singing harmony in the late 70’s in a Southern Style Gospel group for about 5 years. Then she started playing Bass again in 1997 for MorningPsalm Contemporary Worship at Lancaster Church of the Brethren. She currently runs media for the MorningPsalm Service and plays Bass when needed. Beginning in January of 2017, she started playing keyboard for Peace of Mind Band and singing harmony with her husband Clair.
DEAN L THOMAS - BASS GUITAR
Dean started playing Bass Guitar professionally at the age of 16 with a group called The Soul Men.
He spent 7 years on the road with Crossroads and then Shining Star. For the last several years he has been playing for the MorningPsalm Contemporary Worship at Lancaster Church of the Brethren.
In addition to playing with Peace of Mind Band, he also performs with The Jeanette Stillman Band.
His nickname is "The Dean of Bass" and is the owner of a Purple Bass Guitar.
Our typical audience to date has been less than 200 people. Our portable audio system is capable for audiences of probably up to about 300 in about a 4000 SF auditorium (approx. 50' x 80' area). While we are open to larger venues, obviously consideration would need to be made for additional sound support.
We need a performance area minimum of 12' wide x 6' deep x 8' ceiling height.
Electric requirements are for a minimum 20 amp 110/120V circuit within 20' of center stage.
Performer lighting should be provided by venue or may be provided by performers at possible additional cost.
