I surprised my husband at work with this singing telegram and it was so great! Maria dressed in a gorilla wearing a tutu and sang a personalized song. All his coworkers thought it was hilarious and it couldn’t have gone any better. Maria was great to work with and communicated good throughout the day. I highly recommend!

The lady was very nice and fun! But the Minnie Mouse costume was nothing like advertised besides the colors. The picture advertised looked like a Minnie Mouse straight from Disney (The pink one posted on their page). I posted a picture of what was advertised and what we got for reference. My daughter didn’t seem to notice and still had a blast. I still give a 4 star because the lady who played her and did the balloon animals was wonderful and the kids loved her regardless of what the costume looked like.

Maria was great! She arrived on time, was extremely personable and very patient as our birthday girl has autism. She took her time made my daughter comfortable enough to get a little paint. The adults enjoyed her too quite a few of us had our faces painted. I would definitely book her again and certainly recommend her.

The Easter Bunny was very friendly.

I booked a singing Nun for my best friends 50th birthday. The communication between us prior was outstanding. She arrived on time and lit up the room (in a swanky restaurant) with her full on Nun approach, ruler in hand spouting out facts about my friend. It was priceless and to be remembered for ever!!!

Hired a Bonnie and she was on time very good with children did everything we asked looked very cute. My only issue was maybe a little skinny for a bunny but that wasn’t really her fault.

Our bunny was very vibrant. Brought music, was dancing, was so nice to the kids and adults. It was the perfect edition to the party

She was great! Very flexible due to the snow storm we had as our singing telegram was at our friends office. Everyone loved her performance and she got the whole office involved. Our friend was absolutely surprised and can’t stop talking about it. Highly recommend her and if your looking for a great birthday present a singing telegram is the way to go!

Ms. Joyce did a great job at our kids' birthday party! We had a joint party for a 7 and 4 year old, so we had guests in different age groups and a Balloon Twister was the perfect option for our party. She was friendly and accommodating with our location change. We highly recommend her!

This is the second year we have used the Peoples Choice for our Family Fun Day Event and they are amazing! We have a face painter and balloon artist for the kids and I have to say they are true professionals. They truly bring the fun to our Family Fun Day!

Me and my team had a great experience with Peoples Choice! We had Joyce as our face painter, and she did incredible work - true mosaic art pieces, and we had Sandi as our balloon twister - fun for EVERYONE!! These two ladies have such joy for their work that is radiates off them and into the kids they interact with :) Overall great time!

I cannot say enough about the Santa that showed up to our Christmas Eve event. He was engaging with both the children and adults. The children really believed him to be the "real" Santa. I would highly recommend hiring for all your "Santa" needs.

Very nice lady she is on time. We requested a zombie face painter & balloon twister. She looked like a killer clown maybe. All the kids looked like cats. No matter what they asked for. One kid wanted an eagle and idk what she made. Picture included. The only balloon animal she could do was a dog or a sword. For the amount I paid she should’ve been able to do a lot more. Again very nice lady just not worth what we paid for.

I am always hesitant to leave a poor review because I know how they impact a small business, as I am a small business owner myself, but I also want to honestly let others know about my experience with Peoples Choice.
I was in touch with Maria via the GigSalad website leading up to the event. She was communicative and prior to booking sent example pictures of balloon animals that were definitely in the realm of what I was looking for.
Fast forward to the day of the event: The person sent by Peoples Choice was subcontracted by them. This was not something that was communicated to me prior to the event. The skills of this balloon artist were FAR BELOW what we were lead to believe we were getting from Peoples Choice. She also used a sharpie on every balloon design to "draw" (much more like scribble) the features of whatever she made. The designs were so bad, we couldn't correctly guess what she was making each child. Luckily, my customers have a sense of humor and at least the littlest kids seemed happy with their designs. It was not, however, up to par with what I offer as a business myself.

Now, I admittedly made two mistakes before the event. I feel like I should mention them here in full disclosure. Ultimately, these things have nothing to do with the fact that the balloon artist sent by Peoples Choice was not skillful enough to perform at parties or events.
1. I let my computer's autofill feature fill in my address and it put the right street address and business name, but the wrong town (one town over). So the day of, the woman doing balloon animals was lost and that was on me. She called and I was able to lead her back to my business. I accept responsibility for that.
2. Both Joyce (subcontracted artist) and Maria (Peoples Choice) tried to get ahold of me prior to the vent via phone. Joyce had a list of things she needed prior to the event and wanted to make sure I had them (table and chair-so FYI if you get Joyce for your event, she will behind a table, not standing and interacting with kids). Maria wanted to let me know Joyce was trying to get ahold of me. I didn't realize they were trying to get ahold of me because I don't answer numbers I don't know on my cell. However, Maria has been simultaneously communicating with me through Gig Salad with no mention of anything she called about-so I felt like all the info I needed to know or offer up was happening via the website. Maria never reached out to me on Gig Salad about the event being subcontracted, or what the subcontracted artist needed.

Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and in this case, you truly get what you pay for.

Super talented artist, great with kids, had something to for everyone and all the kids were thrilled!!

The reader arrived on time and was very energetic, kind, and easy going. I’d absolutely recommend her going forward.

We chose the shark costume to surprise my sister when she got her Master's Degree. They made a personalized song for her and sang "For She's a Jolly Good Fellow ". Everything went really well, I was nervous as I've never hired a singing telegram before but I'm so glad I did it. I'll definitely do it again in the future.

I really don’t like writing this post because the person that came out was a generally nice person. That being said, he was not a decent looking clown. I hate to criticize but the clown outfit was so old it was almost see through, faded and not clean. The clown shoes were also very old, torn and just tacky, I feel like we wasted our money and we were the ones who looked like clowns to our friends and neighbors . I will never go through GigSalad again!

What an amazing job by both ladies! They both had big lines and it was a hot day but they kept smiling and having fun with all the kids! Everyone walked away happy and chatting about all the fun they had. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

What a wonderful experience to have Santa come visit your house. Santa was amazing. He called from his sleigh and said he was on his way to give us a heads up to get ready for his visit. He was a surprise to all of my guests but to be honest it was the best surprise for me. I felt like a little kid again and it was so worth every cent.

Our real-beard Santa was a huge hit and a nice touch to our Christmas party. He was was great with the kids and had great suggestions for pictures. Highly recommend!

I had to find a replacement Santa at the last minute because of change in dates of my event. Peoples Choice was able to assist me in finding Santa. I had an overall great experience in the whole process.
Santa arrived as scheduled and everyone loved him even my grand-daughter who is not a fan of Santa. She did not sit on his lap but she did stand right next to him. He was a hit with the grandkids and my adult children!! We would have him back in a heart beat!! Thanks so much for helping out at the last minute.

Greg was our balloon twister and he was awesome. Showed up on time and got straight to work. The kids were high energy as most were middle school with a mix of high school here and there. He was patient and interacted great with them.

His balloon creations were top notch and ranged from unicorns, ballerinas and helicopters to superheroes, swords, rainbows and hearts. He even improvised on a funny unique balloon twist request at the end. I would highly recommend this service to those looking for any balloon twisters.

So I hired a clown for my event and she didn’t really look like a clown. Her face painting skills were terrible and embarrassing- everything was just lines painted on the kids faces. Balloon twisting skills weren’t great. We didn’t have many kids so she wasn’t very busy but for whatever reason told my one friend her son would have to wait for a balloon animal which he never ended up getting. She was really nice so I feel terrible for writing this review but it was the worst experience ever. I was so embarrassed and will obviously not be using this company again.

I hired two separate acts from Peoples Choice and both were great. Both arrived on time and stayed their full hour. They were all professional and very easy to work with. I’d use Peoples choice again for future needs.

Our tarot card reader arrived on time and was prepared with appropriate safety measures to make our guests feel comfortable. She was set up in an open garage setting with one guest at a time. Masks and gloves were utilized for each reading. We were very much appreciative of her desire and ability to provide entertainment for our small gathering during these crazy times.

The birthday girl was surprised and enjoyed the singing telegram. Maria creates a fun and unique song and the family enjoyed it. It was a great birthday gift.

We hired a chicken from Peoples Choice and Maria blew us all AWAY, she was hysterical and engaging! WE can not recommend her enough!

I want to sincerely thank Maria for coming to make my sister's 30th quarantine birthday a special one. Maria was well prepared with a song written based on the details I provided to her. She integrated my sister's love of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin into the song lyrics and sung it to the tune of "My way". It was fantastic! I'd highly recommend this service.

They were so responsive to my questions and Batman was great - he did balloons, taught the kids moves and danced with them!

I did face time the day of the event, so it really wasn't clear, but after watching the film, I really enjoyed it! I was told people were distracted and did not see the connection to the Eagles, but I think she did an excellent Job and I will be using her again!

I've been away since the 90th Birthday Party and our "French Maid", but everyone thought it was a lot of fun and enjoyed it. Thanks!

Maria was really great! I sent a singing telegram to congratulate my business partner and Maria showed up in a gorilla suit and sang a song of congratulations! She was professional and kept up the communication on her end like a champ! I had to reschedule the initial visit because the recipients weren't going to be where I thought they were - and rescheduling was easy. THEN, it turns out I gave Maria the wrong address - - but she quickly rectified by communicating with me via text. She was great and I would def. hire her again!

Omg....this was the best party ever. Those are the words of my 7yr old daughter. Her party was at Sky Zone in PA. The entire place was so excited to see him. I think the staff was more excited then the kids. People's Choice really made this a great party. The turtle was on time and really cool. He danced with the kids, it was great. If you're looking for entertainment, People's Choice is the place to go. Thanks to the person wearing the ninja turtle suit, you were awesome.

Maria was absolutely wonderful! My email was answered very quickly for a Minnie Mouse costume character/ kids entertainment for my daughter's 1st birthday party. She arrived on time and set up right away to do face painting. All the kids loved it! She painted puppy dog faces, Minnie Mouse bows and butterflies. She even painted some the kid's hands. After face painting she made some balloon animals. She then said goodbye to all the kids.. Then Maria came back as Minnie Mouse! With her own Mickey Mouse Clubhouse music and danced with all the kids in a circle. There was also the chicken dance, hokey pokey and the limbo. Also the Minnie Mouse costume was in great condition. I especially loved when Minnie Mouse danced with my daughter. Maria did it all! I would call her again for my daughter's parties in the future. She had the best pricing out of a few others. Her price was very reasonable for all that she did for my daughter and the kids. After the party I got a lot of compliments on how all the kids had so much fun! Thanks Again!
